The Bengals Defense is Impressive

That is unfair to Burrow and the Offense and they even did it with shitty play from a few of the OL, namely Cappa and Ford.

OBJ was terrible yesterday, too. He clearly wasn’t ready to come back.

Dax Hill gets a pass because he got hurt.

CTB is one of the worst starting CB's in the NFL.

Murphy has sucked. Hubbard is probably worse.

Burrow is the only thing keeping the Bengals from being 3-14 every year.

Yea it's easy to see that he was clearly dealing with an injury.

They lose by 13 if not for the ctb pick 6. Yes the defense is the biggest problem on this team, but yesterday was an ass whoopin'. We're sitting here every week minus the Philly game talking about we had a chance to win. It's to the point that I expect them to lose now. I didn't feel good when it was 21- 7 early on.

I know we can't expect the offense to score every possession, but it seems like our opponents sure can.

That wasn't some elite Offense we played yesterday and we made them look elite.

Still didn't like the headline "Steelers trounce Bengals."

We lost by 6 points FFS!!!

We did get trounced.  Score wasnt indicative of how the game went

Yep, Orlando as well was shitty and he is the one that allowed Herbig to cause the fumble that turned the tide.

So, if we throw out the CTB pick 6 it is a trouncing eh? That was a clear pick 6 where Pickens was falling down before CTB even touched
him but okay...

It also was never 21-7. We were tied at 14 going into the 2nd quarter.

Agree on the last part, our Defense cannot stop anyone, even a checkdown Offense like the stealers, it is really sad.

If you have a chance to win it late I don't call that a trouncing but to each his own. I find that to be insulting to Burrow and what he did.

Burrow has been excellent this year. Literally no one is playing better. The same can be said for Ja'Marr... Chase Brown is playing over his head. The team as whole is God awful. It's not an insult to the guys that are ballin'. It's just that the team as a whole is getting whooped. Two or three guys can't carry the load. They're doing their damnedest, but it's not enough, and it's not gonna be for the remainder of the season.

I don’t think we’ve had a roster where almost literally everyone was playing under expectations

That’s coaching

Yeah, the Bengals were not trounced, by any definition I can find of the word "trounce." Maybe the writer was lazy and came up with the headline when the Bengals were down by 17.  If the Bengals defense could make a stop when everyone watching the game and the announcers knew that Fields was going to keep the ball, and just put someone on him, then Burrow and the offense would have had one more shot with about a minute to go.

As someone posted on X, "Everybody in the whole stadium knew that Fields was keeping this, except the Bengals players?"  [Image: 1f602.svg]
