I'm up 16.5 points going into tonight, but my friend is actually projected to win by 8 points because he has Burrow, Higgins, and Chase Brown, whereas I only have Dowdle and J Chase left.
I took Chase with my first pick (before J Jeffersons) but, for some dumb reason, I selected Jordan Love instead of Burrow for my QB and Burrow went the pick after me.
I'd be destroying the league if I had picked Burrow.
Anyways, I'm locked into the playoffs and seeding is pretty much set for me (2 or 3 seed and I'll play the same person regardless), but do I have a shot tonight? I'm thinking Dowdle could run for at least two tuddies and over a hundred yards
Let me know your thoughts!

I like Dowdle's chances tonight against our D and Ja'Marr could light up that Cowboys secondary if targeted enough.
Chase Brown is the wild card to me. If Zac commits to running the ball he could have a monster game against the Cowboys D
that is bad at stopping the run. Regardless, I expect Chase Brown to have a big game catching the ball out of the backfield.
Hope to see Khalil Herbert get some run snaps and for us to make it close but lose in the end instead of going on a run to
destroy our chances of getting a top pick. Should be a fun game to watch, kind of nice when I am not emotionally involved
and apathetic even if it sucks as well.

I think Chase Brown destroys the Cowboys and runs all over them. They're horrible against the run.
Agree on the Ja'Marr thoughts but, like I typed, the friend I'm playing also has Burrow, so any touchdown or yards would also help him. Passing yards are 25 per point, whereas receiving is only 10 per, so that could help if Burrow has a few big plays (and game) to Chase instead of Higgins.
Better yet, Burrow throws a screen to Chase, but they rule it as a backwards pass, which is therefore a run, and Ja'Marr takes it 80 yards for a touchdown!
Like I typed, I also think Dowdle destroys our defense, so I'm kind of holding out hope on that.
Like you said, a win weakens our chances at a top pick, but it's hard to root against us, even if it benefits me here.

Kind of a catch-22: you need Chase to do well, but you lose if Burrow does well. Can't have the first one without the second one, unless Burrow throws picks, which I know you don't want.
At this point, it is quite remarkable that Chase is the league's top receiver and Burrow the league's leading passer. (Well, technically, both are a tiny bit behind, but only because they played one game less than the league leaders. With even pitiful games tonight, they will be back in first.) It was prescient of you to pick Ja'Marr, given that he had held out training camp and now is having a monster season.
Dowdle is rested (last game was Thanksgiving) and given the Bengals run defense, it's probably going to be a good game for him. But I also expect Chase and Burrow and Higgins and Chase Brown to have big games. The Bengals offense has been on fire.

Yeah.
Like I said, if Dowdle scores twice and Burrow throws more to Chase than Higgins and Brown doesn't go off, I have a chance.
Also like I said, I'm locked in to the playoffs, so I just hope that we do whatever's best for the team.
