Hopefully Commissioner Gordon supports him better than the Brown family does.

True enough. Burrow can do what he wants and I don't care, but let's be honest if Antonio Brown did this we'd all be talking about what a CTE riddled moron he is.

Eh, it is a safe purchase as others have said, collector's item and all that. AB would never do this. More like purchasing crack down the street.

These ten Batmobiles are being made and are replicas, and his is not the only one. You could probably buy a replica of those ruby slippers at Kohls for 20 bucks.

But not the only pair. There are several pairs of the ruby slippers from the movie. The Smithsonian has a pair on display. There was up to 4 known pairs out there at one point.

Definitely better things to spend 3 million on.... seriously.

For half a 1 million he could have customed made a replica if anything.

You mean when he sells it and gets a 50-100% profit?

True, but the point remains. These are not the Batmobiles from the movie. More like buying a Smokey and The Bandit clone Trans Am. I'm glad Joe is having fun with his money. He's earned it, and he can do what he wants with it. And for a 20 something, that usually means blowing a lot of it. But it's still a stupid purchase and is no wonder his financial advisor was against it. That money was much better spent on hookers, bourbon and cigars.... Wink

I'd rather buy the Tin Man's funnel-penis.

Just looked up the taxes on $2m of income (savings account interest is considered income) and between federal, FICA, state, and local, you're talking $867.4k. I mean, you're not going to be struggling on $1.132m/yr, but that'd be brutal to see 43.37% of your money just fly away (plus an eventual sales tax on when you spend your remaining income).

True except rich people don't pay as much taxes as one would think and they usually don't "just" draw interest off their money via a savings account. Usually it is invested, the difference between rich and poor is that the rich allow their money to work for them 24 hours a day while the poor work 8-12 hours a day for their money to accumulate.

I learned from Belichick on the Manning cast that Burrow isn't even the first QB to enjoy life by purchasing a Batmobile.
