Bengals are projected to have the 17th pick in the 2025 NFL draft. That will certainly cure all the team's ills! Viva la Bengals!
Number 17! Number 17!

I don’t usually do this but….
Purpose for posting this? Did you want us to give up at 4-8 and tank? This is where average teams pick. Probably will still be able to draft a top 3 guard or RB at that spot May even be a solid edge rusher that falls that far

What's kind of odd is that there are four 8-9 teams and six 10-7 teams but the Bengals are the lone 9-8 team. They pick #17 in each round for all six picks, (7th round pick was traded for RB Herbert).

Draft feels like such a crap shoot anyways.
I can't be bothered to care where we pick and can't believe the difference between 17th and 12th or whatever people think we would have been really matters.

Just draft a stud. I could care less what position he plays.

Viva la Bengals! yes absolutely, A new day is upon us! in Duke we trust to draft a guy with a " high ceiling " and " off the chart RAS " that we dont know what position he might play exactly, or maybe coming off an injury ....(remember Ogblewie?) and will underwhelm us for the next 2 yrs until we get sick of saying but his PFF is not bad etc... Meanwhile teams like Ravens , Lions, Rams , will continue to consistently hit homeruns in the draft SORRY FOR THE RANT and Doomer esque post BUT Ive been at this too long....been a fan since 1975 but that BS I read about "coaching changes are coming" is just that...A big pile of BS. I wanted to hear ZT is GONE! We play in AFCN and we need tough minded coach that has his team ready DAY ONE! We all know that really is code for: there will be some minor changes, maybe a couple lower tier guys are let go, no changes to the tiny scouting dept, Duke will continue to struggle, no legit GM will be hired, and most importantly, they will f UP , the Tee, Trey and Chase deals

Please stop drafting injured players. If they’re injured in college they’ll be injured in the pros.

You're not necessarily wrong but even when everyone agrees someone's a hit they can often flame out or at the very least not meet the expectations of their draft spot. On the other hand we often see very good (not great) players out play there draft position. I honestly don't see us being in that much better of a spot if we were drafting 5 or 6 spots earlier unless the staff is dead set on that one guy that gets sniped of the board before we get there. Even then is the next guy up really going to be meaningfully worse? I'm just not convinced that's true

It needs to be figured out why the flame out or meeting expectations. If it's the case of lack of motivation or effort or how to best learn how to grasp the concepts, it may need better scouting such as asking better questions in interviews, reaching out to current/former coaches to get more input, etc. If it's a 1st round pick performing just ok or a Day 2 pick ending up just a rotational/backup but they're trying to put in effort and it's just not clicking, that could be on coaching. A good coach is like a good manager at a company - you adapt your training style to how the individual learns best and you try different things if the current way isn't working for said individual.
