Game 3
#1
The Vikings will be without WR Jordan Addison, who just got hit with a three-game suspension for substance abuse. J. Jefferson should be back by then, but is dealing with a hamstring issue. Game just got a little easier.

I'm definitely looking forward to this game.

The Vikings are pretty good. Their defense surprised me last year.
It'll be a big test but I think the Bengals can win this one with having the better QB.

I live just over the border in Wisconsin and was thinking about getting tickets but man are they expensive.
I like watching football at home too much as well.
They do a great job with all the camera angles and I get to make my own food too.

It always seems that way, so someone says it. Then it rarely ends up that way...

We don't know if the Vikings will be any good with or without Jefferson. It all comes down to QB play, and we have no idea how McCarthy will play. If the Bengals are true to form, thhey'll play to the level of their competition.

Yeah, we’ve watched backup QB’s absolutely shred us, guys like Fred Johnson stonewall Trey, etc. You can’t take anything for granted with this team.

Yep... And they'd better come into week 3 2-0,

Definitely hurts the Vikes passing game, good player Addison, one of the best #2 WR's in the NFL even if Tee is better.

Like others say, this happens all the time where we think a team is going to be easier because they are playing backups and they
seem to play us just as tough or tougher. Should be a fun game to watch, but right now I am even a touch excited over playing in a
preseason game tomorrow against the Champs. Getting itchy for some football baby. Wink

I doubt Jordan Addison moves the betting line either way.

Well, you worded it carefully, saying "game just got a little easier." Yes. But I think us old-timers know the pain of feeling good about a matchup because of this or that player missing and then the substitute shines. Heck, Mike White hit 37 of 44 passes (for over 400 yards) in his first NFL start -- against the Bengals 10th ranked defense. No longer do I plan to allow myself to think any upcoming game should be an easy win. (And I know you're not saying that at all.) It's "any given Sunday" for me from here on out.

Easier does not mean a win, as we are all painfully aware.
