I figured that there had to be a thread addressing the yearlong officiating lovefest that ole Rodge and his OCs have been having with "the Patty!" It's been going on all season. The Texans just got a big nasty dose of "don't breathe on the Patty".
I used to think that Pitt enjoyed the benefit of a lot of calls, and they did! Wtbs, they've never been showered with the love bubble that the NFL has placed over "the Patty" like they have this season.
It's been pretty damn ridiculous to watch and bad for the NFL imo.
All credit for use of the term, "the Patty" goes to Wyche!

The whole NFL and fan base is now catching up to where the Bengals have been for a couple years now. Joe knows.

It was hard to watch. I call it 3rd and flag. The Texans played better but the refs very clearly favored the chiefs. It is getting more and more difficult to watch the NFL as it turns more and more into a soap opera rather than a sport.
That still wasn't as bad as the Bengals/Steelers playoff game years ago when the refs literally put Pitt basically in the end zone with 3 straight 15 yard penalties on Cincinnati. If I remember correctly, Joey Porter (Pitt LB coach) walked out on to the field and yelled at Bengals players and the refs ignored it until I maybe Burfict reacted and they flagged him. That was very clearly the NFL picking the winner.

So, is it for Patty, or is all this because of Swift?

It's a Patty thing, the Chiefs were getting the benefit of calls long before Taylor Swift and Kelce were a thing.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Regardless, it was pretty obvious from what I seen last night that the refs favor the Chiefs. It's disrespectful to the league and it's fans.

Yeah, that just amped the attention they're getting.
Here's hoping the Bills can roll in there and end this threepeat bullshit.

While reading, I misread this as deepthroat bullshit. Sounds about right.

A year ago the SB was rigged so Joe Biden could win the 2024 election, so let's just say these conspiracies have been known to change.

I wouldn't say the Chiefs have the refs more than the stealers, but damn, it has been bad this year with the bias.
I don't understand how fans can root for teams that have bias in their favor. That is kind of the reason I became a Bengals fan in the
first place. I like the underdog and I cannot stand teams that have the edge with corruption. Gets on my nerves and ruins the game.
Mixon had a good game running the ball, was rooting for the guy. Damn Chiefs!!!

I ran across a video of Nate Clements absolutely destroying TB in a game. Knocked his helmet 15 yards behind where the hit took place. No flag! No flopping or crying! It was glorious!
They would have thrown Clements out and suspended him if they were playing by modern rules. The current version with a certain QB flopping on every chance he gets just looks weak for the NFL.
