Improve the DT's and it helps Wilson and Pratt.

Fix the DL starting with a vet lie Hargrove who will be cut according to Lynch. He was paid well by SF and coming off an injury, 31 years old so he should not break the bank. And he will not count towards compensatory calculations if we lose Higgins and others to FA.

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

In fact, just this past Saturday, Sample caught a pass and leaned his shoulder into the defender, who had no choice but to crumble to the ground as Sample bulled for an important first down.

Sample was the worst graded player on the entire Bengals Offense in 2024.  Lol.

He will be cut, and his 3M per year will be applied in a more productive fashion. Sorry if this upsets you.

I am usually one to shy away from former players.  But Carl Lawson would be interesting.   Huge injury risk, but he actually played well in Dallas this year.  And, would not command a lot.  Maybe a 1 year with big incentives over 12 Sacks to double a base of 3/4M.  im intrigued at the idea

If you say so, Skipper.

Just keep in mind that he was a free agent last year, and the team chose to pay him that amount. Not all valuable contributions in football show up on a stat sheet.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

As long as they get paid and ownership keeps the team competitive then they won’t go anywhere. Of course those are big ifs. It won’t be about coaching as of today.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

No one is saying Ownership is going to change.  It is not, ever, going to change.   The brown family will run the Bengals as long as the NFL exists and a team is in Cincy.

They can change their mindset tho.   But, again, given the last 40 years, I don think anyone is hopeful.

agreed, this D  needs some vocal leadership and when healthy Greenlaw is a beast
I see it similar to the Roquon signing for Ravens.

It is weird people talk about cutting Drew Sample, a top notch blocking TE, and in the next breath talk about the importance of keeping Joe Burrow upright...

He is a great blocker and a reasonable outlet receiver, and at a bargain price.

People are still hung up on his draft position. That's water under the bridge at this point.

Absolutely. He frustrates the hell out of us with every 1-2 yard catch but he plays, he blocks extremely well and will be needed depending on who the OL coach is and possibly bringing in more max TE sets, he's a tremendous team guy and he's not very expensive.

He was the worst player on the bengals offense this year.  That is with his 'great blocking'

10000% replaceable

Love those ideas.

ADG was one of the worst players I have seen suit up in a bengals uniform in a long time on D.

He needs to not be on the team in 2025...Pratt should be a backup.

Really really really try to understand the game and things that happen away from the ball as there's quite a bit of action.I'm sure if you commit yourself to doing that your posts might even gain more traction.

He def won't be cut...but his run blocking grades have been below average for all but 2020. He's been good in pass pro (really bad this year) for the most part but run blocking leaves a lot to be desired.

I saw a lot that i liked about ADG. You can't be fooled by a final grade (for those that follow that) because in each category, he had a couple real stinkers that brought the grade down. Otherwise, he was pretty solid all year.

Easily their best tackling LB. Pratt was horrific in tackling this year, by grade and by the eye test. ADG was their best coverage LB as well.

Those grade show he is below a backup caliber player.  Thanks for making my point for me

I am not sure if under Burrows extension he is even eligible to be Franchised after 5 more years.
