My choice for first and second round and other observations
#1
(1) Derrick Harmon (1st) / Ollie Gordon (1st-ish - 2nd)
(2) Nicholas Singleton (1st-2nd) / Donovan Edwards (2nd-5th)

Thoughts
Bengals need to go DT to complement the strong depth in the secondary that they have built the past three drafts. I am not up to date on the other DT prospects besides Mason Graham, but Harmon plays very natural to his position and is versatile along the dline. He reminds me of Johnny Newton from last year. Could turn into a stud in the pros.

HB is making a comeback and Bengals need to add depth. Both Edwards and Singleton were highly rated 5 stars coming out of HS that made a big impact on the field but didn't have the stats this past season to make the headlines ala Ashton Jeanty or Cam Skattebo. Edwards is a one-cut HB that can catch the ball - his game projects more to the pros as he did not fit in UM's base offensive scheme that also had offensive line problems at the beginning of the season. Singleton is similar to Edwards but had a better season and will probably rank slightly higher in athleticism. Ollie Gordon is a power back with some serious straight line speed and can run WR like routes. All three would have gone higher in the draft last year, so this might actually be good for the Bengals who could get a Jahmyr Gibbs type player outside the first.

This draft class doesn't really excite me this year, BPA will probably be the strategy. After writing this, I would be very happy to get Ollie Gordon in the first as he looks like the real deal as a first down back. Singleton is also very impressive whereas Edwards has volume issues. I think the key to this draft is for the team to be smart in terms of drafting players with prior season success as I don't think this college football season favored the best players.

Ollie Gordon is a 3rd/4th round prospect nowhere near a 1st and we would NOT spend a 1st on a RB anyways (Singleton is a 3rd round prospect as well). Edwards is currently a 7th round prospect.
