The NFL controls the refs. They can't have that happen; Bills win, and in this story it was a scheduled win in the pre-season. I began thinking crazily after Aaron Donald ended the SB the same way he ended the 49ers the game before. Seems like a beautiful eloquent play.
I see it as Gladiator, if you can win the crowd over you get to play in the dance and survive. Too bad Lou ****** that up for us this year, or maybe he didn't. Ain't no way we've seen tackling that bad in 30 years. The reason that tackling infuriated us is it doesn't look like it's possible to be that bad.
It is amazing as much football as we've all watched, we see something we've never seen before nearly every game.
"See, we aren't biased for the Chiefs, they earned every playoff win and game they've won." - Bills win a close one. The NFL exists due to all of us being fanatics and psychologists have full control over most of us, lol.

But YES, it has been rough 22 years for me watching the Bengals seemingly always get the short end of the stick.
So far it hasn’t helped. Look how they massacre our boy out there without the calls.

I remember a ref telling a Chiefs player to put his helmet back on instead of flagging him. Wasn’t against the Bengals.

Seems like the refs blink extra hard and extra long when Joe gets obviously face masked - I see your point sir.

It's going to be a close, back and forth game till about 8 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, and the phantom calls start to happen...

I used to enjoy watching Mahomes play, now it’s sickening. Shame.

True for me as well. I used to despise having to see his bratty brother and wife during the game, but liked watching Pat play and thought he was a pretty good dude. Now I can't stand him either. Add to that, the Travis Swift crap and Chief's games are just unwatchable for me.

I hate complaining about the refs but great teams find ways to win we did this with the Patriots dynasty as well. The roughing the QB thing is insane but it’s what the league wants they need to make it reviewable. The Texans complained about losing when they gave up 8 sacks ! They missed a FG, had a FG blocked and miss an extra point. The Chiefs took the opening kickoff to the 50 then a Texans player got a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty for taking off his helmet. He then proceeds to push his special teams coach to the ground when confronted lol , can't win like that you need to play your best game vs KC. In the AFC championship we only scored 20 points Chris Jones and company dominated the LOS vs. a backup O-line. We shanked a punt and Ossai hit Maholmes well out of bounds it was an idiotic penalty and 100 percent the right call.

It's not about any one game. It's about consistency across the league and it is very clear that the calls are absolutely inequitable.

Agree that most of the calls are wrong across the league I just think they put the refs in bad positions with dumb rules that need to be reviewable. My point was I hate fans blaming the refs for KC winning all the time. You need to play great vs them to win because they’re a great team. Or conspiracy theories like why would the league want KC to win ? If fans are mad because they think KC is getting the calls you think Goodell says yes throw the flags because we want fans to think it’s fixed ? Plus there’s 31 other owners involved who he needs to appease it’s idiotic and makes zero sense.

Might want to make another thread for that because that's not what's being discussed here. Blaming the refs for any one game is weak, agreed. But this thread is about clear obvious bias and what the league is doing bout it.

If that truly was the case, then one team would not consistently benefit from it regardless of who their opponent is. You can't watch Chief's football without the bias of being a fan and not see it happen over and over, and almost always in KC's favor.

Why would the league try to benefit the Chiefs what purpose would it serve ? The statement I made ties into this it wouldn’t make sense for them to do so.

Taylor Swift has over 552 million followers across various platforms of social media. I’ll let you do the math on why there’s been an uptick of the league pushing for KC over the last couple years.

Lots of variables if your QB is mobile you’re more prone to get more roughing the passer calls because they’re consistently running more like Maholmes does. Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are super mobile but they rarely ever try to slide or get out of bounds. Josh Allen always looks for contact and plays like a running back. Maholmes does this thing were he tries to fake slid or fake get out of bounds which puts defenders in a tough position. Troy Aikman alluded to it in the Texans game I think thats a thing the league should look into. Far as the pass interference calls Maholmes runs around the pocket forever putting more pressure on DB’s to grab. Allen and Lamar are more prone to run Malhomes is still more of a pocket QB than them. Kelce gets open quickly as well. Far as the Chiefs not getting PI Trent Mcudffie is an all pro corner , Chris Jones is a HOF and they’re in the oppositions backfield quickly giving them less time to throw meaning less PI. The Bengals game for instance Mahomes had all day to throw because Lou decides to rush 3 tons of variables. Great teams all don’t make dumb penalties.

Add in the possibility of HOF TE, TK retiring after completing a 3-peat, and there's your story! The stuff that NFL DREAMS are made of.

Everyone said the same things about the Pats, and the Steelers, and the Cowboys, and the 9ers, etc.
Really good teams get more calls, well, because their legacy skews it that way. Refs, etc are human, and they have bias.
The way to stop it is to beat them.....

Kelce started dating her in 2023 people have been complaining about them getting calls well before that. Goodell has to appease 31 other owners and you really think everyone is in on the Chiefs games being rigged makes no sense for everyone else.

Josh Allen a rising star winning his first title for Buffalo after the Bills lost 4 Super Bowls in row? Jayden Dainels a rookie QB winning it all ? Jalen Hurts avenging his prior superbowl loss to the Chiefs. Why wouldn’t those stories work ? Everyone hates KC

Hence why I said “uptick” in their bias. They were already favoring Mahomes even before that though because he was the biggest star in the league.
Also, I don’t think the games are rigged. I just think KC and especially Mahomes get preferential treatment. Even Troy Aikman was complaining about it during their last game.
