One of the craziest trades in NBA history, unless Luka has a significant injury issue.

What the actual ****? I get that NBA2K would allow this trade but that doesn’t mean it makes sense.
This might be the dumbest trade in sports history

To only approach the Lakers with this offer is absolutely absurd. They could’ve had the greatest bidding war in NBA history. This needs to be investigated by the NBA

I remember when Stern vetoed the Chris Paul trade, but I don't remember why:
https://lakersnation.com/this-day-in-lakers-history-nba-vetoes-chris-paul-trade-with-hornets/ Would be kind of funny if the commissioner has the power to say "no I don't think so" lol. Apparently Luka didn't ask to be traded and Lebron didn't know. They could have had a king's ransom, one of the oddest trades in NBA history. I feel like Luka wanted to be a Laker though, he's made this comment before. If Lebron's conditioning rubs off on Luka, they have 15 years of excellence incoming. Luka has lost his supermax extension ability because of this trade. DAL hiding behind the "defense wins championships" thing, with AD being 32 and also often injured, this comment makes no sense.

Terrible trade by the Mavs. They get a 30+ often injured player for a much younger MVP star type of player.

There is a plausible theory being floated that it was done because the new owners were more interested in being a part of the gambling business than being the the b-ball business.
Makes some sense when you think about it... https://www.theblaze.com/shows/fearless-with-jason-whitlock/nba-2671090482 ![]()

I also watched that and think it's plausible. It also should fully reveal what you think you're watching on TV (sports) are not what you think. Money is all that matters. Stafford was scheduled to beat Burrow, lol. Most billionaires only care about themselves, they don't care about being fair. How can they all stay rich. Somehow the NFL thinks the Chiefs winning 3 in a row is something everyone wants to see.

Patty gets his NFL flopping calls, MLB ditches a gambling umpire, and the NBA rigs Luka to the Lakers.

The biggest loser in this is LeBron & Clutch sports.
