I look forward each year to the NFL.COM prospect ratings.

CBS used to do a good job, but not so much any more

Luther Burden and Walter Nolen as the number #5 & #6 overall grades respectively... I can see it with Nolen's upside but I am not high on Burden.

Did the NFL decide to put their prospect draft profiles behind a paywall?

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

They're all done by one guy, and it isn't his only gig.  He's been doing a 3 hour local ESPN sports radio show with the same guy for 25 years and they are considered one of the best talk shows in the country.  Lance makes more money off the talk radio than the NFL.  :)

Nolen is all over the map. I've seen him listed as low as like #35-40 and even lower on one site.  Seems to be a very wide range of thoughts on him.

Travis Hunter listed at CB, which I believe is the group he will participate with at the combine.

Nolen started slow and had his most productive games the last 4 weeks of the 2024 season. So if the draftniks got to his film early he was more of a Shemar Stewart prospect very disruptive but lacked production. Some people probably wanted to see how me measured too. That 33+inch arm benchmark can be important for alot of teams.
