Surprised this wasnt posted He owns a soccer team he has a bad ass goalie doing something incredible and he happens to be a Bengals fan made a wager with JJ Watt if he has a clean sheet rest of year he comes out of retirement to play for Bengals 1 season.

Just not realistic at this point. I’m no soccer guy but I know it would be a near miracle for him to go another 12-13 games without giving up a goal.

Also Watt is old and has not played in a while but they would have to trade for him because the Cards still have his rights.

It’s a fun off-season story but not very realistic - would the Bengals even want him (guessing he would cost almost nothing in salary) and what would they even want to give up for him?

There are 12 scheduled matches left unless they end up in the post-season. They only go to the post season if they finish 3rd - 6th in their league though. If you finish 1st or 2nd you are automatically promoted to the Championship league and don't play more games.

I would be a complete farce and the bengals would be laugingstocks.  He has not played in 2 years, and would be utterly useless.

No one took it seriously, because the bengals are actually trying to win.  Not create the Savannah Bananas or Globtrotters.

Watt, at age 36, 2.5 years removed from the NFL would be embarrassing to have on a NFL team

**** Burnley boring negative bastards.

Was secretly hoping they would draw every game 0-0 though while we are romping away with the championship.

Marching on together.

Yeah, that must have been a little awkward, with the Bengals/Watt sitch and Burnley right on your tail.
