Fifty

Years

Still feels like only a couple of decades ago. LOL I was seven at this time 50 years ago, practicing every Reds batting stance and swing next to my bed before going to sleep every night. I even perfected the stances of the backups like Bill Plummer, Dan Driessen, Terry Crowley and Merv Rettenmund. Truly one of the greatest teams of all-time.

I grew up following the Big Red Machine. My dad said there would never be as good as team in my lifetime. I am in my 60's now and he was right.

During the summer, Marty and Joe were seemingly on everyone's back yard radio.

Oh the memories

All the upstairs windows open, 3 or 4 fans blowing, Marty and Joe on the radio. Me trying to stay awake for late west coast Dodgers game.

And this one belongs to the Reds.
