Bit of an overpay but can't afford to not have a solid 3rd DE. Still need a draft pick capable of beating him.

Other than no G help and nothing with the big 3 or a Burrow restructure, pretty good day.
Typical Bengals. No A listers but solid moves. Gesicki, Hill, Perine, and Burks I really like. Ossai solid.
IDK where the cap stands. But G help is needed.

Agreed…wanted him back but it’s a bit high. It was limited action but I really like what I saw from Cedric Johnson. Hoping they draft Walker or Campbell in the first to help both overall LB play (cut Pratt) and the blitz packages.

I don't understand the cap hit Spotrac gave us on the Gesicki signing. I thought he was given 12 million in year one. If so, that means a bigger bonus than the 10% they are reporting fr 2025.
I think something will give with Tee, either we sign him long term creating a huge cap influx or we trade him and gain a huge 26 million in cap space.
I still think will be given a deal and again we gain some cap space in 2025. Last, Burrow has said he will restructure to get us cap space. I may be wrong, but I thin we sign a very good OG in free agency and maybe like the Bears, add 2. They did it via trade.

I agree. He should be living in the weight room and working with experts to improve his power, speed and quickness.
He could be a very rich man in 2026 if he puts it ll together.

Possibly. LDE and LG may very well be open competition between 3 players each.

Looking that way. And that's if Treys back.
We have a roster that lacks top end talent eapecially on defense. We've signed a bunch of average to below average NFL starters. That's not what we needed.

Same as this past season with him becoming a free agent this year.

True, but feel this year his agent's phone was not ringing and why he re-signed with us. It is a wake up call, produce or risk selling insurance in 2026.

Glad they are willing to spend the money to keep this championship defense intact.

We gave him a decent contract for 5.5 sacks. Of course, if he played more instead of Hubbard, he might have got 8 to 10.

Yes. It kind of feels like they're hitting singles instead of swinging for the fences.
I wonder if Burrow is happy with the moves?

Why wouldn't Trey be back? I just don't see a team offering the farm for him. if they did, we woul have a lot more cap money and more draft capital to replace him and add talent.
My point is Trey is not leaving us high and dry if he leaves, he is leaving us the means to help our team.

This defense is gonna be historicaly bad, might as well trade Tee now. It's so Embarrassing to be a fan of this team sometimes. Especially living here in PA. I can't even argue with anyone when they say how cheap and shit thia front office is. Please sell already. Save us all.

He asked for Tee, Chase and Gesicki so he should be thrilled. He got all 3.

Zero pass rush help and minus the DPOY runner up. Keeping the most unathletic free safety in the league intact. A 2.5 million dollar linebacker should fix that position group. Also, just so the edge guys don't feel left out, not a single halfway decent interior pass rusher on the roster.
Yeah, we get to draft some guys, but maybe 2 will be contributors. Also, we need 2 starting guards.
WTF are we doing here?
This is a Marvin-era free agency period minus actually signing our own stars.
