I posted one of these in PnR to have folks find some common ground with others who do align with their beliefs. While NOT EVEN CLOSE to contentious we can get a little testy when folks don't agree with our outlook on the Team/Organization. So the following survey is for fun during the dead period and you just might find that Homer has a lot in common with you as a Hater.
Some questions are taken from the PnR post but not all:
Your top 3 Sports movies:
Favorite 3 Musical groups/artists of your lifetime
Your first car
Your High School Mascot
Dog/Cat/Neither
You are the new Red's leadoff hitter what is your "walkout" song?
Top 3 War movies:
The first novel you read for entertainment:
You are single and in your prime, which Hollywood start are you marrying in their prime
Your dream car
You dream vacation
Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington, or Samuel L. Jackson: Hang out with one, one's got your back in a fight, one has to be your roommate
Favorite Adult Beverage Adults can drink soft drinks)
You just bought the Bengals, you must relocate and rename. What is your new Franchise

Favorite Meal
Your top 3 Sports movies: Top 3? Hard to say as I haven't seen a lot. My favourite 3 though? 8 Men Out, A League of Their Own, Rush
Favorite 3 Musical groups/artists of your lifetime: 1. The Who 2. Limp Bizkit 3. Rize (Japanese Nu Metal Band) 4. Snot 5. Max Webster
Your first car: 2001 Subaru Outback 2.5i, blue. did 2 trips to Cincinnati and back with a leaky headgasket.
Your High School Mascot: Our team was the, "Thunder," so we didn't have a mascot lol.
Dog/Cat/Neither: Both, though I'm a Cat guy more. Coco is our current pup (of 8 years, so not quite a pup), a Bolognese.
You are the new Red's leadoff hitter what is your "walkout" song? Walk-up song, not walkout . Don't Test The Master- Buddha Brand
Top 3 War movies: Again, can't do a top because I haven't seen enough, but my 3 favourites are: 1. The Dirty Dozen 2. Inglorious Basterds 3. Saving Ryan's Privates. If fictional wars count, then Independence Day would be tops, the rest follow.
The first novel you read for entertainment: The Magician's Nephew- C.S. Lewis
You are single and in your prime, which Hollywood start are you marrying in their prime: Do you mean star? Pamela Anderson, beyond the shadow of a doubt. Actually, I prefer her in her mid 30s, so if that isn't considered prime, then I would go for Lacey Chabert.
Your dream car: Any year, Nissan Skyline R33 GTR V-Spec N1
You dream vacation: Already had that, 21 days in Japan. At this point, 1 week fishing up and down the Aussie coast.
Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington, or Samuel L. Jackson: Hang out with one, one's got your back in a fight, one has to be your roommate: Hang, Denzel. Fight, Sam. Roommate, Brad. I'd actually pick Jackson for all 3, but not how the game works.
Favorite Adult Beverage Adults can drink soft drinks): always will be milk or Dr. Pepper
You just bought the Bengals, you must relocate and rename. What is your new Franchise: Toronto Tigers.
Favorite Meal: Anything Mexican, but tacos. The ones I made myself in Mexico were bomb, but the Mango, Beef Mole ones I made (emulating a recipe from Iron Chef Japan) come close.

It only seems natural that a team called Thunder would have Lightning Bolts on their helmets.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Nope, just the name and numbers. They may have adopted a bolt now (I DID graduate 18 years ago lol), but nothing at that point!
it was weird, because all the other schools in the area had something that would have a logo/mascot (Wyverns, Coyotes, Panthers, etc.) but we were the Thunder lol.
If we were an American school, I can guarantee we'd have a mascot

I've called it that since it came out (thought I was a clever Tween) and I promise from the bottom of my heart, I am not saying it to poke fun or make light of it: I've written about it on here in the past, but I have never bawled from sadness/grief at a film in my life, once they started showing the typewriters after Omaha.
The realisation of how many young men/kids lost their lives and were just pure cannon fodder: these were sons, brothers, friends, uncles, etc., so many killed, so much lost and wasted life, all because a little madman was angry and tried to have fun with the world and people's lives...
It is easily one of the 5 best films I have ever seen, but I will never watch it again. I don't need that kind of sadness to come back
