How bad I am

Like many folks, I think I'm a pretty good judge of talent, but watching this UFL game (Arlington v. Birmingham) shows me how bad I am.

Just in this game alone some fine favs that didn't make the NFL cut:

Daviyon Nixon

Will Clarke (Former Bengal Great)

Bradlee Anae

Jalen Camp

Perrion Winfrey

Perrion Winfrey, wasn't he like 3 years ago? I seem to remember his name being passed around as a draft prospect. Kind of forgotten about him.

I know I had Alec Lindstrom from Memphis as a Day 3 pick in a bunch of mocks.

Winfrey was commonly rated around the 3rd, if I remember correctly.  And being fair, bfine wasn't the only one on that train, though he was the conductor.  I think I had him in 1-2 mocks that year.

Yeah, a lot were on Perion, we needed a DT and it was a terrible year for them in the draft. I was upset we took Carter in the 3rd instead of him. But that seems to be half-dozen or one and 6 of the other.

Yeah, I remember Lindstrom. I did a quick scrub of the rest of the rosters and some popular names that I or others mocked:

Frank Darby/WR/ASU
Jalen Wydermyer/TE/TA&M
The Tulas Prince/RB/TUL
DeAndre Baker/CB/UGA

Two guys Iiked in the draft proces Andy Isabella(2019) and Demarius Taylor(2022) were cut before the ufl season began. Kelvin Joseph is having a pretty good season in DC and he was a 2nd Rd pick in 2021 for Dallas.

Well in your defense, these guys are getting paid (pros) so you were correct.

I didn't openly post about it, but I thought it made sense to trade away pick #1 to pass on Burrow and instead grab Tua and other picks. Burrow is obviously better than Tua and Duke probably would have botched the other picks.

UFL has some quality defenders and RBs.  Too many of them come out each year to make an NFL roster. Now OL, QB, WR? Yeah, most of those dudes belong exactly where they are.
