Hey, I do like this draft. Though I might look for DE over DT in the 3rd. I just have a feeling that with the addition of Slaton and the continued development of our second year DTs, that the IDL room might be a little more complete than we're thinking.

I would very good with first 2 picks, but unlikely Jackson is sitting there at pick 49. We need a defensive end before a DT in my opinion. The Tennessee WR is lso likely to go about 80 to 90 picks prior to #193.

Overall, I like the draft, just dont see the board falling this way.

I'm a fan of Sai'vion Jones.  He started out great but then faded some during the year.  Had a nice all star game sack.  6'5, 280, 9.19 RAS.

Oh I know, I'm starting to lean toward IDL isn't awful myself (hoping). But I was just focused on getting some playmakers for our D, we need some bad!

Doesn't matter if we're scoring 30 points a game if we're giving up 35.

I believe it's fairly unrealistic myself but that's how it fell for me. Jones in the 5th round ummm....

I agree about improving the defense being the biggest priority. I think that the biggest personnel improvement impacts could be had at Safety and LB. LB may be part of the way solved with Logan Wilson returning to full health and addition of Burks. If Golden wants to run more 4-3 base, I'd leave Pratt in the middle and put Burks at Sam and then pull Pratt when they go Nickle. DE definitely needs a personnel boost, as weather they come to terms with Hendrickson or not, he's not getting any younger and Ossai and Murphy just doesn't sound like a formidable duo.
