Steelers Rebuild? Will They Ever Recover?

Again, as you are in nearly every emotional post of yours, you are wrong.

Metcalf is a #1 NFL WR.

It's hilarious how wrong you are and how you post insults like it somehow makes your points right.

I did forget about Metcalf, but who else do they have? A bunch of nobodies, so therefore my post was accurate.

He's going to be double and triple teamed.

Also, who's going to throw him the ball? Even if they do sign Rogers, are they better than 10-7?

Sports Illustrated has them at under 8.5 wins.

Quote:It hasn’t been a good look for the Steelers to wait around for a 41-year-old Aaron Rodgers to decide whether to play for them. Pittsburgh made a mistake not looking to get younger at quarterback and now desperately need Rodgers to sign and hold up for an entire season. Even with the trade for DK Metcalf, this could be the team that ends coach Mike Tomlin’s 18-year streak of non-losing seasons.

NFL SpinZone says 9-8 if they sign Rodgers or Cousins, but six wins max if they have to go with Rudolph,

Quote:I’m going to project the Steelers to win nine games again because it seems inevitable under head coach Mike Tomlin, but this is really hanging by an Aaron Rodgers-sized thread right now. If Rodgers doesn’t come aboard, then the Steelers need to quickly pivot to Kirk Cousins. And if Mason Rudolph ends up starting games this season, I’m saying six wins is the max.

Again, as in every post that deals with reality and logic, you are wrong.

So, you forgot about their #1 WR.

Their number one with nobody else, meaning he'll be double and triple teamed, and they don't have a quarterback, much-less one good enough to overcome that.

Also cute how you conveniently ignore the rest of my post.

Because you said 'their WR room is a bunch of nobodies'

But forgot their #1 WR  who averages 75 catches,  1050 yards and 8 TDS a year

You know that's it's spring when the Bengals are gonna win all the things, and the Steelers are totally gonna suck threads start to emerge.

Do you follow the NFL or do you just constantly throw out insults like a child?

TBF, over the last 5 seasons, Metcalf has been #14 in receptions, #11 in yards and #6 in TDs. I don't see him replicating his averages in Pitt, but i'm not ready to completely discount him yet.

Given that our entire franchise got a total resurrection from getting the #1 and #5 overall picks in back to back years, you think we'd be a bit leery of the Steelers being flat out terrible.  They've won enough to do nothing other than become the Bengals in the Andy Dalton era...can't be good enough to be anything other than a playoff speed bump in round 1, can't be bad enough to draft their Burrow/Chase.

Why mess with this?  They're perfectly frustrating to Steeler fans right now, and have been since 2018 and they'll probably go 8-9 or better this year, too.  Don't kick a turd and make it stink, let them keep up their frustrating mediocrity.
