Go...

I'll cap it at 3 so we all don't say the same ones.... (although we may)

3. Losing to the Dolphins in OT in 2019 to get Burrow instead of Herbert or Tua.
2. Beating the Raiders in the 2021 Wildcard Round to get our first playoff win in 30 years.
1. Beating the Chiefs in OT in the 2021 AFCC Game to go to the SB.

If I had a 4th/Honorable Mention it would be how we absolutely physically dominated the Bills in their own stadium in the snow. We beat them up, took their lunch money, and made them thank us for it. I wish we were that physical always.

Now wait a minute! No ending of the thread until at least Von Bell v Steelers primetime 2019 is mentioned.

I loved that snow game in Buffalo. Watching them control that game while the snow continued to drift down was a mystical experience. Also nice that it didn’t go down to the wire like the other playoff games those two years.

The 2021 AFC championship comeback in KC was the greatest day in franchise history.

Was it? I’d have to look back.

There was some great coaching in the Browning V Jags 2023 primetime game. Where it seemed a win was hopeless.

The coaching was great in the Burrow bowl too even though it almost cost us Burrow.  The young unproven coaching staff proved they could manage time with scoring what was it like 17 points in a little over a minute left.

The coaching was great too in that tone setting Steelers game. No one thought they’d come out with a win. Starting Finley. The horse smile I still see clear as day!

41-17 over the Ravens in 2021
41-10 over the Steelers in 2021
Burrow annihilates the 49ers in 2023

These aren’t better than the playoff wins, but I wanted to mention them.

Damn! I have to agree with everything you just said. Crazy, that would be my list to, well I may have picked another game other than the Miami game. Maybe the GB game we lost, but what a crazy game it was.

Absolutely poor taste, awful comment.

Anyways, TLL wrote the three *MOST IMPORTANT* games in the Zac Era, but not necessarily the top 3 best to watch or how the team performed.

For that (and I'll stick to the regular season, since obviously the playoff games were super-entertaining), I'll go:

@Ravens, 2021 (destroyed a completely healthy Ravens team, matching them blow for blow until the blender play)
Chefs, 2021 (didn't destroy them, but super-entertaining, between Chase's insane yards, the 3rd and 27, the penalties to extend the game, etc.)
@ 9ers, 2023 (one of the most complete games a Zac team has ever played. Garbage time yards accounted for an extra 120 yards or so, which inflate the numbers, but the whole team was clicking, in a hostile environment, against a really good {albeit declining} team)

I'd have to lean toward all 3 games for the 2021 postseason to get the Bengals to the Super Bowl.

vs Raiders - First playoff win in 30+ years, came down to the wire stopping Raiders offensive drive.
@ Titans - Maybe it was because I was at that game, but Bengals going against the 1 seed on the road, it was back and forth. Huge pass to Chase along the sideline at the end of the game to set up the McPherson FG to send the Bengals to AFCCG.
@ Chiefs - Being down 21-10 going into halftime and that big stop at the goal line to keep Chiefs from going up 28, then coming back to tie in 4Q and win in OT to go to the SB. Didn't feel real.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

The Steelers game in 2021 might be my favorite Bengals game of all time. Mostly because a few hours before the game I had my twins (both my first kids). What a day, having twin boys and then stomping the Steelers. They couldn't have been born on a better day.

Oh get over it, Damar is fine and is playing football again. It's not like he's still on life support. You'd never last in my world. As Sgt. Hulka says... " Lighten up Francis"
