Seems like they're always the last ones to reluctantly conform to the new ways of conducting business in the NFL.

Take away the injuries to key players..including our starting quarterback...team has one of the better records in the NFL..they sell out every home game..national viewership is in the top 10%...good job...only deficiency..faster start at the beginning of the season

Did I miss something? Have they won the Superbowl recently?

The Brown family got lucky after years and years of sucking which netted them Burrow and Chase. Fans pay to support and watch talented players that have a chance to win despite the poor ownership decisions. It isn't difficult to understand. Keep spewing the same rhetoric, but it doesn't negate decades of the Brown family poorly running an organization.

Can't win a Super Bowl if you're no longer making the playoffs, right? Incoming his reply of: Great winning record in the past 4 years.

No but damned if they haven't managed to be mediocre AF the past 2 seasons despite having the best best QB and WR in the NFL. That's actually pretty hard to do. Great job front office.
When it comes to high attendance and the Cincinnati Bengals it's really just an indication that someone (Joe Burrow in this instance) has done a good job of selling hope to the fan base.

All this angst against the Browns can’t be criticized. Is it over done? Probably. They kept Chase & Tee & Gesicki. That was undoubtedly because Joe had to let his feelings known. But there’s also tons of legit criticisms too. But to me it’s the draft and free agency ( last 2 years).
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Joe missed a ton of games in ‘23 and we narrowly missed the playoffs. Last year there’s no excuse.

2021 and 2022 are looking more like flash in a pan success than continuous. Reminds me of post-Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson getting paid. How the Bengals let the rest of the roster fall to pieces.

Take away all the losing and they win every game.

As I have said numerous times in the thread, I tried to change the poll options and can't. The mistake I made was I was not doing letter grades so that should have never been in the poll options.
But lovely how many want to derail the thread and poll. There are lots of options to choose, 6 in fact.

Certainly, no surprise, maybe shows the ones who don't whine we are the worst FO is football and inept are more accurate than those who continually say such things.
Last I checked also only 1 or 2 saying excellent also so seems to me the board is wise. Ony 2 say top 2 options, yet many more saying last 2 options.

I suggest the 2 of you start yur own thread and maybe then you get your desired result of majoirty of fans think the FO is the worst or close to the worst in the NFL.
I have no idea how ZT, JB, Katie or Duke can or should be held accountable for things from 40 years ago?

Bengals haven't been "good" in nearly 3 years now.
Good, to me, is deep playoff run.
Making playoffs is not good, it's minimum expectation to being ok. 14 teams out of 32 (43.75%) make the playoffs.
With that said, some people like going to the games even if the team is doing poorly. Tailgating and the football atmosphere are fun for them, regardless whether the team wins or loses.
There's a lot of new for this 2025 team compared to the previous years.
New DC, new position coaches, some new (mid-tier) FAs, few draft picks (some more risk-reward than others).
Some folks naturally are more positive when it comes to new and the unknown, some are more hesitant until they can see it with their own eyes.
I can understand why different people look at the exact same thing and vary on whether something is good or not. It's all subjective and up to the expectations they want to set for themselves.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs
Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.
Sorry for Party Rocking!

He pointed out flash in the pan success. I directly answered that post with some examples. 100% facts and indisputible.
I've already touched on my "grade" for the front office in an earlier post.
