I am 0-3 and the clock is ticking.
I seem to recall someone somewhere (not a poster here but some article/reporter) projecting Bengals don't get a deal done with Stewart until right before regular season starts (thus missing all offseason workouts and preseason games) and not getting a deal done with Hendrickson and he sits out for as many games as possible until traded or risking not having this season count toward hitting FA next year.
The thought of Ossai and Murphy starting at DE is baffling to me.
How do the Bengals not only have this drama with their only true elite defensive player going on but also can't get their 1st round draft pick signed, WHO IS AT THE SAME POSITION?
I'm not saying it's fully on the Bengals because I don't think the Bengals should just be doormats, but man this is frustrating for Bengals fans and I'm sure the organization too.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs
Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Yeah, might of been a bad time to put that clause in Shemar's contract. Maybe should of waited until we had our starting End locked up.

I am not so sure that would have helped. I honestly think the kid doesn't want to be a Bengal.

He did think the Cowboys would take him so who knows. Imagine if he would have gotten 5 sacks in his college career. His head would be seriously swole.

Nah, TLL just shown we have different language in his contract than all the other players who have a clause. Shemar is more right than I thought
even if he is coming off as a doosh here. Get that language out of his contract and make it just like the other player's clauses and he will sign.
Back to the thread as RFaulk said. 27 days...
Dre Kirkpatrick was #27, not many liked him on here though, especially HarleyDog lol

I did not want to start a new thread. Official countdown for our rookies is this week, they report Saturday. Other teams the same. Will Bengals sign Knight and Stewart this week, will other teams sign their unsigned rookies? We can only hope we sign ours as rookies need to get all the work in to be prepared to go against NFL talent.

Please use 2025 free agency to fix the trenches, not the draft!!!!!!!!
