Iosivas got his production last year incredibly inefficiently despite having a very efficient QB.

892 offensive snaps (a massive amount for a WR) in one of the most pass heavy offenses just to catch 59% of his targets from one of the most accurate QBs and not even break 500 yards is not good.

He's great inside the opponent's 10 yard line, but bad everywhere else.

PFF is not gospel, but it lines up correctly with some other metrics when it says he was the 126th/133 WRs last year.

For comparison.. Deebo Samuel this offseason was traded for a 5th round (147th) pick and he's averaging 780 yards receiving and 5 TDs plus 180 yards rushing and 3 TDs over the last 2 years.

Jerry Jeudy was just heading into his age 25 season last year when he was traded for a 5th and 6th round pick, and he averaged 865 receiving yards over the previous 2 seasons.

Folks aren't trading Day 2 picks for inefficient 400-500 yard WRs.

I disagree. His Efficiency and targets are predicated by being 2nd and 3rd option in a route combination. If he shows a better feel for zone coverage this upcoming season you could see a team take a swing on a player like Iosivas... The Jets might trade a 3rd for him right now they need someone like Iosivas on the opposite side of Jamison Williams.

It's too early to be drunk, Synric. Lol

Jamison Williams is on the Lions and he is the guy across from Amon-Ra St Brown.

The Jets have Allen Lazard who put up 530/6 in 12 games last year to play opposite Garret Wilson, which isn't a good #2, but still better than Isosivas in less playing time despite inferior QBing. They also signed Josh Reynolds who put up >600/5 in 2023 when he was healthy, and drafted a 4th rounder this year and a 2nd rounder last year. That's certainly not a good WR room, but they sure as hell aren't giving up a 3rd right now for Andrei Isosivas. Besides, it's not like they have a QB who can throw the ball anyway, so they don't really need WRs.

I meant Garrett Wilson lol. The Jets are reportedly looking for an X Receiver in the trade market right now.

Yoshi has a pretty good resume.

If we could get a solid player for him at a position of need i think we could be alright without him.
