Sanders is a pssy!

In the past, yes. Doesn't mean we will do it going forward. I know the D sucked in their preseason debut, so bad, it was painful to watch. Doesn't mean it will be the same on opening day.

Every QB can extend the play but that's not a strength of his. He was 136 out of 147 for % of sacks on his drop backs and had a 25% pressure to sack in 2023 and 19% in 2024, both of which is very mid.

chopperbobbyWe make rookie and back up QB look like HOF

As history shows, we handle them well and they look poor?

I debunked this years ago on here: our winning percentage is something like 67% against Rookie/1st time QBs.

Every other team tackles, guards receivers and puts pressure on the QB.

You need some time away. You've posted maybe 100 posts between GD and here since the game, not one of them with any bit of positive reflection or anything that can keep the conversation going, just constant bitching, moaning and unproductive BS.

Seriously, take a week off.

Not sure any posters other than OP referenced playing the Browns next preseason game. But it is worth pointing out that the Commanders game is not on Saturday, but will be a Monday Night game. Which makes it tough because the third preseason game is the following Saturday -- just 5 days later.

Not worried about that, as starters/frontline guys won't be playing.

If I see something positive I will let you know. I call it as I see it.

Unfortunately for Sanders and the Browns, they don't have an established, elite RB for defenses to focus on now.
Ford was solid last year, but he's not someone defenses fear.
Jeudy, Johnson, and Njoku should be a solid set of pass catchers for whoever is QB, but the Browns passing offense is not strong enough to be a focal point.

To be honest, I don't see them being a playoff contender, and any team playing them should be looking to defend the pass this year until they can prove their run game is still a fearsome force.
It would not surprise me to see the Browns at the bottom of the division again, but maybe closer to 5-6 wins compared to just the 3 they had last year.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

I think it’s more just how ugly some of the losses to rookies/backups have been over the years that really stick in people’s minds.

Why all the Browns talk here?

We play Washington a week from today. If Daniels & company play some, that will be a real test for the D.

Philly & Washington are both high end offenses, along with Detroit, Baltimore, Buffalo, and us.

Yes, you've continuedly tried to gaslight the forum into thinking the pattern they've seen after watching the team for multiple years doesn't exist, starting around the '21-'22 season only for Mike White to become a legend a few short days later. I can recall at least 3-4 different threads where your attempt to "debunk" didn't hold up well to scrutiny.

I think we're having the yearly discussion a bit earlier than past years though.
