Well, it's about damn time! (I'm actually thrilled that they are addressing the issue)

Great news, because of course our IOL room is not that strong.

Hope this happens RG is our weakest link not just on the O-line but team wide.

I feel much better about safety than RG ATM.

I think they have been monitoring Patricks progress off of the TC injury and he clearly is not sufficiently healed. The lunging, tripping and such all trace back to the injury screwing with his agility. So this is unsurprising.

He should never leave Cincinnati unless it's for an away game....

If this is the case and he has time to heal up he could be good depth for us if we do not cut him.

Hopefully Mikey doesnt deem him too expensive

"anytime you want to meet for lunch and or drinks..or both..my treat  ..we can compare degrees . In addition to getting an MBA/MHA from Xavier I also obtained an Masters in Public Health from  the Chan School of Public Health ( Harvard) and I doubt very seriously that your educational background  can match that.." - ERIC1

If they sign Risner and sign Trey my perspective on the entire off-season changes.

Plus, they are currently pretty thin with the Volson injury, as well.

Hopefully, they get a deal done.  Risner isn't a world beater, but he is an upgrade on paper.

I do not care if he is traded away or not. It is time for some type of movement on that topic Trey needs to get into game shape weather it is for our team or another.

Tick Tock.

On to 2025, let's save the drama for the off season.

I care.

But If dalton can add shelf life to our burrow Maserati I’ll tolerate a shitty defense being shittier.

But… I think the bengals know that too which is why they’re suddenly interested in Risner. Money had tk be freed up somewhere.

His Pass Pro grade for last year was 67, compared to the Guards from that season that's a huge improvement.

This would be HUGE!

Hopefully it's not the end of offseason moves, but this alone would have me doing backflips in my wheelchair!

I hope we make some moves to improve the defense, but being able to protect Burrow and open lanes for Brown means we can pretty much outscore any other team in the NFL!

I am ecstatic, don't get me wrong. Risner was at the top of my wants list since the beginning of the season. I just can't understand why they waited this long. Wouldn't you want him to be in camp? Why wait until after the 2nd pre-season game? This has been a known issue since...this time last year.

I was beginning to think there must be something wrong with Risner, as his past performance would indicate he'd be the walk in starter from day 1 on this Oline.

Someone posted a link regarding an incident between Risner and one of the Denver QBs, a couple of years back. Perhaps that is the sort of thing that might get him "blackballed" in the minds of some OCs?
