Rudi apparently didn't realize that correlation doesn't always imply causation.
Teams run the ball more when they're ahead, which makes it appear as if a RB getting 20+ touches causes a team to be more successful. Really, the increased touches are often more of a byproduct of success.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

Yep. He got pretty testy one year during contract negotiations and even threatened to hold out.
