Yeah, some areas got hit pretty hard. I heard about some deaths south of here. There was a woman that drowned downriver from here due to a flash flood situation. Mt father-in-law had an interesting time in Newport News as the shipyard was shutdown due to tornado warnings.

Despite multiple tornado warnings over the course of the afternoon at work and the evening at home, we had no damage outside of snapped limbs and shed doors blown open.

I'll take that any day!
