I love Peko, but he is overpaid at this point in his career. That said, he did have a good year, and looked much better with the rotation back in full swing.
I think a studly secondary had a little bit to do with his career sack numbers too.

Anyone know anything about Philip Wheeler? He had a couple of pretty good years, but seems to have declined over the last couple of seasons.
This,
Plus there will be bigger fish to fry via FA after we learn of departures. Peko is going nowhere this year so a rookie that Peko can mentor and spell him periodically would be perfect.

Would love to see Janoris Jenkins or Alex Mack, and a WR added if Sanu or Jones leave added.

Jenkins turned down a 5 yr/$45 million offer from the Rams and he's looking for around $12 million a year. That's way too rich for the Bengals blood.

Also, he's not good.
Bengals like their DBs disciplined. Jenkins is anything but.
He'll make splashy plays but he's also giving up a ton.

If people are mad at Dre's salary, they'd be on fire over Jenkins when they see him play 16 games.
