Sign LB Karlos Dansby and CB Prince Amukamara to 1 year vet minimum prove it deals (maybe put some incentives in there)?
I know Defense is our strong Suit, so why not beef it up a little more?
To me, either of these guys would've been a much better move than signing Taylor Mays...

Amukamara joined the Jags on a 1 year deal.

Prince is gone, and Dansby apparently wants to be here now.
I'd be fine with signing Dansby for a year or 2. He showed he still has some left.

different positions....
T Mays Backup Saftey Special teamer and Nickle Linebacker
Dansby Middle Linebacker
CB Prince A ( Dre K, Dennard, A Jones....)
Dont understand comparing it to mays... but whatever you want to do... Prince A where would he fall on the depth chart?
Dansby id definately kick the tires as we are currently short handed at Linebacker.

Dang, I thought he joined somewhere. Sportstrac wasn't up to date.
Prince would've been better than Taylor, but oh well.
Sign WR Jaron Brown (RFA) Arizona (no pick compensation).
Sign WR Russell Shepard (RFA) Tampa (no pick compensation)
making these guys an offer does not count against our compensation picks.

Jaron Brown is interesting, I like his speed.
I don't see him doing much here except being a camp body.

I think he's just not happy about Mays being back with the team regardless of position.

That is correct. He's had his chance. His time has come and gone.
He's nothing but a workout warrior with terrible instincts.

People say it takes two to tango, and when it comes to free agency and this team, it's always the players with no interest of coming here. Well, now there's a player, who can positively contribute who wants apart of the team.
There's no reason we shouldn't bring him in for a visit.

John Brown is the one that has the 4.34 speed.
Jaron Brown is 4.43. I think he'd be a fine addition.

I doubt we sign anyone else. We don't seem in any rush to shore up our WR platoon. Get used to seeing Brandon Tate lining up on the other side of AJ, throw in a little Rex and Mario.
Signing Karlos makes too much sense, so that won't happen.
