Back on the mothership we once shared quick/easy recipies and I shared this one at the time. If you're a fan of the Big Boy hamburger then you'll want to give this a try. It's not for a the diet-concious or for anyone looking a for a light meal. This is heavy - and addictive.
Assemble the following, in this order, on a pizza pan. Each ingredient should cover the previous ingredient.
One ready-made pizza crust
1 small jar (9 oz) of Frisch's tartar sauce
Hamburger pickle chips
1 pound cooked and drained ground beef
Shredded lettuce (baking lettuce is a little weird, true, but it will work out fine)
Shredded, mild cheddar cheese
Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.
I try to make this just a few times per year. Mrs. Llama is not a tartar sauce fan so I usually get it all to myself, and the leftovers tatse even better the next day.
Interetested to know if anyone has tried this before (or if you try it now) and what you thought of it. It's an aquired taste, but my kids and I all acquired it.
