This was really frustrating - both because our players lacked the discipline not to let this happen and because Guenther did not scheme to prevent it after the first 2 times it happened.

Multiple runs in a row up the middle. And even Hue jackson calling a time out because he thought they could get the ball back with time. We lucked into a first down. And the hometown crowd viciously booing Marvin's lack of ball sack ended up in a hail mary lucky TD that turned the tide of the game. Other than that and Hills long TD run Marvin was playing not to lose instead of playing to win. If it werent for luck and knocking out their starting QB.... Woulda been a lot closer.

A lttle over a minute left before Halftime the Bengals stop the Browns on 3rd down. Instead of going for it on 4th down the Browns decide to punt and will try to stop the Bengals and get the ball back before halftime. Knowing they will need all their TOs when the Bengals have the ball Hue doesn't use one in hopes that Marvin will blink first and burn one of his two remaining.

Marvin reminds Hue who is the teacher and who is the student and doesn't fall for it and we get the ball back with both our TOs in our pocket. Marvin brilliantly calls a run on first down to test the softness of the D, the D has not sold out and the run is stopped. Now Hue plays right into Marvin's hand by calling a TO (Once again, Teacher controlling the pupil). With everyone now expecting pass Marvin goes with the run. The run is sucessful and Marvin calls one of his two remaining TOs.

With time at a premium Andy drops back to pass, holds onto the ball entirely too long and takes a sack. Luckily, his veteran coach has perserved one last time out and calls it to give the Bengals one final play. Although his QB let him down before with taking the sack Marvin places his trust in the QB and I'm sure reminding him to not take a sack.

The hail mary in caught by AJ as time expires. Marvin has managed the clock to perfection and the other coach is left to shake his head knowing he has just been taken to school.

Oh, and some folks think the fans had something to do with it.
