Green Won't Need Surgery

People need to lay off the medical staff, its getting old.

Anyways I read that they initially looked at the mri and didn't see a tear or any damage, thought it might have been just a cramp. But upon further analysis they were looking at the other leg.

You mean he wont need surgery YET! He will be week to week the rest of the season then in May they will decide to do surgery due to him not healing like they thought he would. I hope he returns to tie with Moss though.

Only thing I care about this year
1) Gio's surgury goes well.
2) Green gets well and gets his 1000 yards.
3) Andy Dalton doesn't get killed from this shitty line.

Now lets tank and get Allen, Peppers or Garrette and secure that early second rounder for a C.

you know that was one of the major things i was hoping for in a season where team success is not going to happen.

That consecutive 1000yd seasons to start a career is a hall of fame type stat so if he can level with only Randy Moss (and maybe beat it next year) that's a huge personal milestone for AJ....Julio Jones can never match that, even Rice did not do that.

Also I was really hoping he was going to get 1st team All Pro for the first time...I think he deserved it but that may be gone depending on what happens with this injury.

Hopefully the Bengals have it right that he does not need surgery. ....Now how long he will be out depends.  Reds fans saw Ken Griffey Jr and hamstring woes....Considering the poor season, I do not want to see AJ Green in and out and limping around.  I'm already thinking 2017 and a healthy Green .....Don't bring him back until he is in great shape.....Gives Bengs a chance to see if these other stiffs at WR are worth bringing back in 2017

Right?

He'll have surgery in June, then in July there will be reports that the leg may have to be amputated, then Marvin will give weekly updates through camp saying that he is "close", he'll work on the rehab field a few times then suffer some other injury because the first injury was not healed correctly, then there will be reports that he has left Cincinnati to visit with specialists, followed by who knows what else Ninja
