R.I.P. Debbie Reynolds

The day after Carrie Fisher dies from a heart attack, her mother dies from a stroke.

2016 can't get over fast enough. Too many stars died this year.

R.i.p

While 2016 has been bad there are lots of older stars left 2017 could be a slaughter.

Quote:Reynolds is survived by her son Todd Fisher and her granddaughter Billie Lourd. Her son said that the emotional stress caused by her daughter's death the day before had seriously affected his mother, and was partially responsible for her stroke, noting that her last words were, "I want to be with Carrie."

Imagine being in your 80s and being told your child just died. Sheesh.

Really liked her, she seemed like a nice lady. Loved her in Mother, the movie she did with Albert Brooks. If you've dealt with elderly parents it hits some true notes.

My grandma outlived a son, an adult grandchild, and an adult great grandchild. That's the sad downside of living a long life.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.
