That's a good team of announcers.  Charles Davis is very good.

You're joking, right?

Davis gets names wrong more than other announcers, is horribly biased against the Bengals and he REALLY doesn't know the sport as well as others.

There's a reason why NFLN removed him from more and more programming, until he was punted altogether and now only does the odd show for them, while his buddies Mayock, Deion and LT get more screen time and even have their own shows.

Goes to show what having an exciting quarterback can do for a team. A 4-4 vs 2-6-1 matchup getting the nod for the local game over a 7-1 vs 5-3 matchup. The Browns used to be off TV completely by Week 4 outside of Northern Ohio.

Oh well, at least I can hit up Roosters down the street.

Would you rather have Fouts or Gannon?  I've never heard Davis being biased against the Bengals.  I'll have to pay attention to that.  I guess I just like the guy, for whatever reason.

Fouts I agree with you (oh GOD do I ever agree), but Gannon isn't bad; he's insightful, he has great knowledge of the game and players and he doesn't have a voice that is nerve-wracking. I will give you he gets players names wrong sometimes, but not as often as Davis AND he's not biased against the Bengals.

Plus, who doesn't love him saying, "owwwww-fense?" LOL

You like Romo?!  He might be the worst announcer in the history of sports!  He tries to make all these in-depth and intelligent statements but they all just make no sense and all the other commentators are just like "and moving on............"

I haven’t heard him much this year, but I thought last year he was easily one of the more entertaining announcers.

I also am a Romo fan. Guy explains pretty well and not afraid to tell it like it is. I love his knack of seeing how a play is going to go before the ball is snapped just by reading the offense and defense at the line That dude is on almost every time. I bet if you went in with a clear mind next time before watching one of his games, you would better appreciate how he announces it. Or maybe not.

Romo is one of my faves. So I'm kinda biased I guess. Just because to me, he makes it fun. Sometimes I will sit back and say, "How did he know that was going to happen?" But then again, he was a QB and knows how to read the field. Plus, if he see's something wrong? He will call out the NFL in a heartbeat and not think twice. Dude doesnt need the job because I'm sure he has plenty of money. His honesty is golden.
