***2023 NFL Draft Thread***

Seems like they didn't really want Washington but who knows.

Staying in my salty ***** way, I agree with Synric and we got cute and screwed ourselves not selecting DW...

But like Bfine says, news came out lately about some Georgia players we just don't know about and there is a reason DW fell this far.

Hope bad things for the stealers as always.

Battle could be a stud for us though, so not bitching and be a salty ***** anymore.  Mellow

I knew ya'll would all go after that lol.

Yes I'm okay with not getting him because we have had success with mediocre TE's in the Burrow era. Would like to see at least one lineman soon, but I still would like a TE and a RB as well. For competition and depth.

So did ZT explain how the weakest RB room in the NFL is going to get teams out of 2 high? Because that was a MAJOR need area as it took all the explosion out of the offense.

Also yea we drafted some DBs last year and lost both starting safeties, a starting CB, and our top CB is coming back from major injury.

But sure why would we want DBs?

The problem is, our defense was truly never the problem in all but one loss.

In 4/5 losses we scored 20 or less points, while the defense gave up 23 or less points in those 4 games.

Our offense has just as much room to improve as our defense, yet only truly improved in one position. We also have added no depth on the offense.

I’m sure these guys will be good, but our seasons have ended because the Offense couldn’t get it done when it mattered, not because of our defense.

Been some teams that had a need at tackle, and getting another pick for a disgruntled player is a win and a should be done kind of thing.

But would we then be locked into using said pick on his replacement? That’s a wash at best, not a W.
Go Benton Panthers!!

Yes as much as I love wanting to watch Adeniji and Ford play significant snaps on the line

Jonah’s salary vs drafting someone and way less was the reason. He’ll get moved . May only help cap wise.

Yeah, if we can afford one with all the money we will be paying in extensions. We saw numerous TE's including our guy Hurst get
overpaid this FA. Nothing against Hurst or Uzomah the year before but I think they were overpaid big time. Still want Whyle, Kuntz
or Durham tomorrow if they are available...

We went from, he’s out next Vonn Bell to he’s not good really quick. It’s how people cope

A little surprised we went SS

Especially after all the love Tycen got from Zac. This isn’t to just give Tycen competition. We want to start Dax and Battle. Ngl im afraid to start 2 guys so young. I become less afraid when i realize that Lou will have these guys ready but seeing us dedicate 2 high picks to replace Bates and Bell does feel good.

Safety is an undervalued position until it’s your safety being burned for a long TD so this is a pick i cannot hate

Hey! I paid my way through my male exotic dancer and phrenologist program selling wine coolers by St Joseph's. Now take your hat off and sit back. I am on the clock.

Nvm

Literally forgot Nick Scott was a human that existed.

So now I’m wondering if we are going to bring out 3 safety formations. I remember Lou mentioning that a while back and wanting to try it. Dax as the roaming playmaker or the TE guy?
