I will giveit a go:

I. Easy Pickings = 44

QB (2): Burrow; Browning
RB (2): Mixon; C. Brown
WR (6): Chase, Higgins, Boyd; Iosivas, Irwin, C. Jones
TE (2): Smith, Jr.; D. Sample
OT (3): O. Brown, J. Williams; Carman
OG (3): Cappa, Volson; Scarping (G/C)
C (1): Karras
------------
DE (5): Hendrickson, Hubbard; Ossai, Murphy, C. Sample
NT/DT (4): Reader, BJ Hill; Tupou, Carter
LB (4): Wilson, Pratt; ADG, Bailey
CB (6): Awuzie, CTB, Hilton; Turner, Ivey, Davis
S (4): Scott, D. Hill; Anderson, Battle
--------
PK: McPherson
LS: Adomitis

That's 44, 9 to go. Collins on PUP. I'd be shocked if the Bengals cut any of those 44.

II. Almost Certainly on the 53:

1. Bachie, LB

III. Probably on 53

2. Tufele, NT/DT
3. Robbins, P

That is 47, six spots left. I have 25 on D, 19 on O, and 3 specialists.

IV. The Real Fringe = 6.
1. RB: T. Williams
2. RB: Evans
3. TE: Wilcox (I'd keep Hudson)
4. OT: Smith
5. C/OG: T. Hill
6. G/T: Ford (I'd keep DE R. Johnson)

How bad is Ossai's injury? This is concerning as the main reason why Ossai hasn't been great so far is he is always getting injured.

Doesn't matter how good he is as a pass rusher if he cannot get on the field.

After the game Zac said Ossai was on the field because "he needed the reps". Not a huge vote of confidence.

My bold prediction is Ossai is not on the 53 our first game of the season. I think they'll name him 53 and try to sneak Davis or Johnson 3 through waivers and then IR Joe the next day. It buys thenm 4 weeks to see if he can live up to potential.

Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

If Ossai is healthy, he will be active week 1. I don't see Davis making it through a cut. I think a DT like Tufele may be cut unless Ossai is going to be out for 6 weeks or more. I don't see a team grabbing Tufele because they have to put him on their 53 man roster week 1.

Free Agency ain't over until it is over.

First 6 years BB - 41 wins and 54 losses with 1-1 playoff record with 2 teams Browns and Pats

Also, not great that his last major play was flagged as a late hit on Mahomes that moved the ball 15-yards and allowed the  45-yard field goal that ended the Bengals season.

If Ossai is gonna be IR'd, then you put the guy you want to keep on the 53 already (Johnson III) and have a hanshake deal with a vested vet (no waivers) that they will fill the spot (Ford, Morgan, Taylor, Thomas, S. Jones).

I don't have any of those but one (Morgan) making the 53 even after day 2 adjustments

Collins hasn't been activated from the PUP, meaning they can keep him there to start the season iirc.

I like that you didn't list Asiasi as this guy has been not existent and with bad hands since he got here. Just not impressive at TE.

Based on merit, I would probably cut Chase Brown instead, however I think he may make it over Hudson simply because they spent a pick on him.

I don't think this will be accurate, as I'm sure there will be at least a couple of pickups from other teams off waivers, possibly even a trade.

Chase Brown isn't going anywhere. I'm not sure if Williams will be good to go week 1. They will need Evans and Brown to back up Mixon.

Cut Chase Brown?  Seriously? This is worse than your prediction that Darnell Wright was a 4th Rounder.

Who is Rice at CB? There is none on the roster by that name. And you have 54 on the roster. You have 10 d lineman not 9.

Maybe he meant Sidney Jones? (who definitely isn't making the team)

If I’m reading it right to utilize the new 3 QB rule a third QB must be on the roster. He can be inactive for the game but go to the game but if injury activated. That would allow Morgan to be on the roster on Gameday.

I got the dreaded brothers named Sydney from Seattle confused. Fixed. I have Ossai making the 53 and then being replaced by RG3
