8 year old in NH survives being hung from tire swing in apparent hate crime
#1
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/new-hampshire-teens-boy-table-rope-neck-family/

An 8 year old biracial kid in New Hampshire was somehow pushed off a picnic table while a rope holding a tire swing was wrapped around his neck. The alleged attackers are teens and the police have been quiet on releasing any details. They have stated that they are investigating an incident involving juveniles on the date this occurred, but are refusing to confirm that it involves the victim. Click the link to see photos of his injury.

His grandmother has said that he has been the target of these kids racist insults in the past.

If accurate, it's sad that parents are teaching this garbage to their kids. You are taught by someone to behave like this.

How do you get that much hate by your teens?

When 1% of the population is black, you're not really exposed to people who are different from you, When your parents were kids, there were even less black people. You form assumptions based on what your parents tell you, which is likely based on what their parents told him.

Or just some people are aholes and they raised an ahole child.

For example Blacks are rare in Belarus yet there is nothing like this happening.

Or maybe not reported?

Or maybe it's more accepted as they would a truer minority versus the US where their numbers are greater?

Violent prejudice occurs in most places in the world in some form or another. The former Soviet Bloc may not be as bad about it towards those of African descent, but give them a Romani or a Jew and boy howdy, watch out.

Blacks are rare to the point that people are surprised to see them and if they do they are just avoided. Bringing one home to marry is a shame to the family.

Gays are not in the open most are married to a woman and have a family to not raise suspicion. If they are outed they will most likely have people from the neighborhood asking them to leave for the sake of the families in the neighborhood.

No one gets beat up.

There will be an upcoming issue with the Chinese in Belarus. That might get violent based off how Lukashenko did the whole deal.

Families do not want that stuff around their children. What happens in someone's bedroom should stay there.....

You know perfectly well I wasn't addressing that... should have known any attempt at a conversation with you ends with your nonsense.

Same reason some people patrol their gated community with a loaded weapon while walking their children.

We're in over our head with things 'you should have known' already. Spare us.

I'm glad he found a way to attack the LGBT community in a thread about a child being hurt.

Being uncomfortable around someone is a far cry from being violent against a minority. But when has that ever stopped you from jumping the shark.

Belarus is a good country. That would probably be better off being back in the Soviet Union or at the very least Soviet Union light and being a trade union.

Similar to what the EU should be ..... but that is for another thread.

So just seeking clarification, are you stating there has been no prejudice based violence in Belarus? Historically, or in recent years? Are you only referring to prejudice based violence against these two groups or are you making a blanket statement regarding other minority groups?

You seem to know a lot about being a closeted homosexual in Belarus.
