Adam Jones to IR
#1
The season has ended for Adam Jones as he heads to IR. CB Tony McRae signed off the PS. Has Jones played his last game for the Bengals? time will tell.

I suspect we will see more roster moves in the coming days

Pacman is 34 and carries a 6 mil cap hit next year. I think we've seen the last of him and good riddance.

This should have happened week 1, give K Russell and the rest of the young guys some snaps and lets see what they can do!

I hope he played his last one. He shouldn't even have been here this year.
Especially after his off the field antics.

Agreed.

But will his BFF Mike Brown see it that way?

Will there be any movement in the front office roster?

Adam Jones was a good asset for the Bengals, but I also feel he's probably retiring after this season

unless he's up for massively re-structuring his contract to reflect his role as 4th CB and specialist PR then he should be gone.

My fear is the Mike Brown 'loyalty' to paying the full contract in the face of wider cap/squad opportunities will win out.....Pacman did buy him a painting for his birthday too ..Mike likes such grovelling acts I suspect.

Go out on top Pacman... Let that interception be your last play... If not, let it be your last play in Cincinnati.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

I think PacMan's time has come. I will miss him on punt returns, but he's well past his prime as a CB.

The funny thing is that I’ve heard radio and tv guys praising pman this year for turning his personal life around. Lmfao. He did have some good years here, though extremely undisciplined. I really hope that a new disciplined culture moves in. I know it won’t be popular but I’d move on from Taz too. Talent without discipline is one step forward and two steps back. Now if Taz plays disciplined like he did against the Steelers, he’s an asset. He sets an example for these other guys, it needs to be a good example or he’s worthless to winning.

He had some good years here but his inability to grow up(Being kind here) & advanced age are reason enough to release him. Hoping he's played his last game as a Bengal.

Wanted him cut after his last incident. He was already showing signs of age last year and we could've used the cap space to address the line (not that we were strapped for cash, but still). Hopefully the Bengals do in 2018 what they should've done in 2017. Can Pacman and PA, and fix this damn line.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

Ended his career picking off Big Ben

If this is the case it’s likely both him and shaziers career ended in same game weird

Bye Bye, get this malcontent and locker room cancer out of here. Took one damn day for the new Browns GM to get rid of their locker room cancer. (Kenny Britt)

Like others have said he never should have been on the team this season. Let's hope he's had his final game in stripes.

Adam Jones was one of our best CB's for several years
I didn't like his off field stuff...but that's none of my business...
best wishes Adam.....

Yeah but I read it's only $1million in dead money if they cut him.

I agree though, see ya Pacman.
