If you can keep yourself entertained that way the better for you. I played a lot of games by myself im my younger days. And probly even more now. although video games

I used to play in my grade school's pep band. Well, "pep band" was a bit of a stretch, it was volunteers from the 5th though 8th grade bands that would play at the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball games. I brought this to one of the games, and in between numbers we passed it around. I was a big hit that night.

Yeah, mine was a hand me down from my brother, I was in the era you're talking about, but I did have one of those metal, vibrating football games bought new. I didn't think anything would top Tecmo Bowl......until Tecmo Super Bowl arrived on the scene.
