First off, what's intersectional feminism?

Secondly, does this mean I can tell black guys to stop wearing Polo shirts 'cause those are totally white.

Intersectionality is a concept in socialism that says that when different forms of oppression intersect (so like a black lesbian may face homophobia, racism, and misogyny) unique experiences are created.

So intersectional feminism would make a point to address these struggles too and also not ignore lesbian or people of color feminist literature. There tends to be a focus on white feminists.

Yes. These things are stupid. I saw a video where a black chick went off on a white dude with dreads. It's dumb.

To address the OP, this is just an RA. Did the National Review really lower itself to responding to emails from the RAs of tiny colleges?

Well, well, well, what a golden day for the National Review! One of their "intellectuals" finally found someone he could win a batlte of wits with - a dumb (and perhaps apocryphal) girl on a (probably fictitious) college campus who is crying about something pretty meaningless even to the girls in her own dorm.

But, hey, I can't blame him. When you are ashamed of your majorities in both Houses of Congress and their total lack of political skill, when your Commander in Chief is a disgrace to your party, your nation, and your world, what can you do to feel good about yourself? Find an ignorant young woman (or make on up) and pick a fight with her over something stupid she may or many not have said.

Subscriptions to the National Review should get a nice bounce from this!

So... "brown" people were wearing the big hoops to be ironic, and it upset them because "white" people were wearing them and it was insensitive?

LOL

I think the vast consensus is that the cultural appropriation argument is beyond effing stupid. A small island of sanity in an ocean of diarrhea.

You know who first came up with the N-word?

White people. That was our word.

Now we are not allowed to use it.

Guess it is time to dig up my "cultural appropriation victim card".

Did you seriously just try and find a way to pin this on Trump?

No. I simply observed that the National Review is a big conservative mouthpiece and so for the last 8 years they could cry about how the world is going to hell in a hand cart and if we had only elected a Republican President shit would be straightened out pronto. Well, now they can't blow that horn any more and they sure can't talk about Donny Boy's "great success" so they have to write about something else. Anyone who picks up that rag can feel free to tell me how many pages there were in the last issue celebrating the "accomplishments" of Super Trump. My suspicion is there weren't many. But then again, the editors over there are a delusional bunch so anything is possible. Cheers mate!
