Bengals face risk in chasing next young offensive mind
#41
What I'm hoping they don't do is to start hiring and firing head coaches every year or two whenever they don't have instant results and exactly the opposite, giving every proven failure 15-16 years to prove their failure.
The sad fact is we have to remember this IS the Cincinnati Bengals where winning isn't necessarily a requirement for success as a head coach. Mike Brown for all his many faults doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who will panic if a new hire doesn't immediately take us to the superbowl. Instead he'll not panic us to a lifetime of 6-12 seasons..  Just rename the team to the DIYD'sX2. (Damned if you do, Damned if you don't's)
I'm really looking forward to the many threads titled, BRING BACK MARVIN NOW! (just for the entertainment value if nothing else)
