Bye Bye Marvin

This here is getting way beyond redundant!!

No matter how many times it's said, and everyone who knows the team, knows Lewis stays until Lewis leaves.

Why do we keep seeing these threads??

The only 2 questions should be, and they will be answered sooner or later;

1.  Does Marvin retire this year?
2.  If not, does he get extended?

Stay tuned, I can promise you both questions will be answered before the draft.

Oddly enough, we were having a similar discussion this morning about the increase in Marvin Lewis/management threads. We do have a Marvin Lewis subforum (where this thread is now located) which will hopefully be a place posters can still vent or defend Marvin if they feel the need, without detracting from the peaceful flow that is Jungle Noise.

We have the talent to win a playoff game - and more. We have the talent to win more than 3 games at this point in the season. But none of our players show heart. And that starts from the coach. Over 10 years and ZERO results. The only thing missing now Marvin retiring with a Golden Parachute that would screw up the organization's cap space.

This whole season started with crap like Eifert waiting so long for treatment.

It just kept snowballing with Billings and WJ3 getting injured and other high draft players under-performing.

The O line play has been worse than expected.  The D line play has been a downright disappointment.

Burfict being suspended.  Was the only real bright spot at LB going into the season.

Lafell and Boyd were more than competent enough to cover for the the MJ and Sanu departure.

Major drop off at safety after losing Nelson.  Pacman hit the wall.  Even at Special Teams !

What a clusterf*ck of things stated above.

Out of all of those though.  The main two problems are the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Somebody needs to be held accountable for this drop off in the D line not being able to put pressure on QBs.

Somebody needs to be held accountable for not being able to establish consistent blocking for rushing & passing.

Any poster denying as fans that there is no right to say someone should be fired/cut/whatever is a damn idiot.

Most fans know that it won't happen anyways.

By why do some people on here insist that it's ridiculous to be frustrated and publicly vent(on a message board even)that the team they root for, acts like they are brain dead at doing anything about it?

Well said and couldn't agree more.

Peaceful flow?  As far as I can tell, the fan base appears to be riled into an angry mob.  Torches and pitchforks sold separately.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Marvin's contract has nothing to do with cap space.  To your original statement, no this team does not have the talent to win a playoff game.  As much as all of us have thought they had that talent in the past, they obviously did not have it then either.
