"Terms have not yet emerged. As one source explains it, it’s a “different sort of deal,” and it’s essentially worth $20 million over two years. Eventually, the full specifics will emerge."

Interesting that it's more of a 2 year deal.

Hopefully Ossai picks up right where he left off last preseason. Kid beat Tristan Wirfs for a sack. That’s no easy feat.

I’m personally hoping for a CB or 3T with our 1st pick.

Same here if it's in that BPA range. I wouldn't rule out Safety either. Both Bates & Bell are on the last year of their contracts.

Really an argument can be made for anywhere on defense and interior OL.

I think we’re pretty set at LB with Wilson, Pratt, ADG, and Bailey. But they really can go BPA at this point.

With the injury and suspension history, the Bengals are likely protecting themselves.

I definitely agree on Wilson. Jury still out IMO on the others and Pratt is in the last year of his rookie deal. No guarantee he'll be extended.

Pratt will probably get $6-7 million a year on the open market.

I don't think anyone would be upset with any of the players if it really was just "one bad play".

Apple sucks in zone but is pretty good in man. Scheme fit is huge.

Great job fo! Collins will get a fresh start here on the AFC Champs team, so can't wait to see this new line in action. Who-Dey!

TE, CB, LG, DT are our biggest needs.

Then S because of free agency.

And can always use DE.

We get it, Pistons, he’s missed some games. He’s also played 15+ games 3x in the last 5 years.

Same, but we're looking at three straight offseasons at this point where they've been very active in acquiring good to very good outside talent.  I think the days of the do-nothing, passive Bengals front office have ended.

Somehow, they've not only become active, but they're making great moves that pay dividends quickly.  You can't say that for every team that's utilizes outside FA to build a roster.  The Bengals have really stepped outside of their comfort zone and damn near immediately started knocking it out of the park.

I could potentially see Boyd or Mixon being cap casualties next offseason. Rb and wr could be addressed as early 2nd or 3rd round. Dang I missed the team being able to draft for depth.

Agreed. Probably Mixon over Boyd.

But, I think the cap is supposed to rise A LOT.
