Did we really land on the moon
#1
Today marks the 46th anniversary that Apollo 11 reportedly landed on the moon. So I thought this would be an appropriate time for the topic. There has always been talk that it really didn't happen.

What do we think. Do we think we had the ability to do this 46 years ago and why did we just stop?

Did we? Yes.

Did we stop? Yes.

Why? Don't know. Just a guess, because it's a giant rock without much in the way of resources to harvest that would offset the cost of spending millions (billions?) going there.

Second guess would be because that's really where Obama's from. We brought him back, dropped him in Kenya and launched a multi-decade plot to get him in the White House so him and his alien brethren could take over for the Illumnati, who then plan to poison the aliens and claim the world for the remaining 1% of human population.

Of course we landed on the moon. Where else would we have got Nikki Minaj from:

For centuries, man though the moon was made out of cheese and man loves cheese.
Technology finally got to where man could go to the moon and after a handful of missions, it was discovered there was no cheese on the moon.
We haven't been back since.

Seriously though,

If the United States didn't land on the moon, don't you think the Russians would have known and called us out on it?

Second, the technology the US had at the time was far more advanced than that of tv stations. There was no way to plug in a direct feed from the US monitors into a relay to the tv stations so they sat a camera in front of the monitor to show the live footage. That's why the picture looks like it does.

Third, there are reflectors set up by man on the moon. Anyone can bounce a laser off of these reflectors if they have a laser.

Fourth, some people just want to cause trouble and be edgy so they will do anything like say, "Man has never been to the moon" so they can get beat up by geriatric astronaughts.

Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.

We should be pushing harder to be in space. To get to a point where we can get colonies going.

The enviornmentalists keep saying we are better off with less humans. So let's get moving into space.

With the advent of SSM, population should reduce bit.
The NWO will be happy.

On topic....

This is all of the information that you need to know.  If you have the technical know how, and the equipment required, you can verify that man has been there yourself.

This is a silly thread. There is all sorts of credible evidence that we landed on the moon. That is not really in dispute.

However, most people do not know that our astronauts were eaten by subterranean lizard people and never really returned. The moon landing was real, but the return was all a hoax.

If you really don't believe we landed on the moon, here are a few things to convince you:

1. As an earlier poster said, mirrors were placed on the moon to act as reflectors for laser range finding. But some say that they are just a natural phenomenon such as a puddle, or ice. So...

2. When the lunar landers (there were 6 of them) took off from the surface to return the astronauts to the command module orbiting overhead, they separated from their bases:

Those left behind bases can still be seen on the surface of the moon by decent store bought telescopes today.

3. In later missions, astronauts took with them lunar rovers to be able to venture further afield:

Those rovers, their tracks, landing site equipment, and even astronaut footprints can still be viewed on the moon's surface with a decent store bought telescope by anyone who has/buys one:

Therefore, this is one of the easiest conspiracy theories in the world to debunk. You don't have to believe internet reports or pics. You simply have to get a telescope and see for yourself.

This man explains why moon hoaxers are idiots, and have little to no true understanding of technology of the day and why it would have been even more difficult to fake the landing rather than just go.

I fully believe we landed on the moon because it was a rather absurd waste of money that accomplished nothing but some temporary, and unreasonable morale; exactly what I expect from the US government. Fun fact for the Bengals fans: the 1969 moon landing was closer to our last playoff win than our last playoff win is to now.

Landing on the moon was enough to "win" the space race.
