We really do have a shocking history recently with TE’s and injuries.

To think what Eifert could have been if he wasn’t constantly broken

whats even scarier is if Hurst goes down. He has been a pleasant somewhat of a surprise.
I would definitely bring at least one other guy or make a trade.

I'm always laughing at people who say things can't get any worse..Things can ALWAYS get worse..The entire team could get leprosy and syphilis at the same time.. Granted the odds of that are slim, but it could happen..and it would definitely make the headlines around the globe..

Sample may have played his last game as a Bengal (although they probably could have and still can re-sign him for "cheap").

We will miss Sample’s blocking impact even if it’s not obvious to most fans. Luckily we grabbed Asiasi on waivers before the season started. That may end up looking like a terrific move.

Same thoughts LF40. We must of seen something in Asiasi. Now is the time to hopefully see this move help us.

The crazy thing is:

Gresham was always hurt in College. Once he came to the NFL he was an ironman

With the practice squad rules, they were not wasting a spot on the 53 by keeping Sample  They could elevate a player for a game like they did against the Jets.  However, do not be surprised if he goes on IR next Monday when the team has 6 players eligible to come off of PUP and IR and they actually do need the roster spot. In fact, we could see some wholesale roster changes because of those players.

We are down a TE possibly for the year. Tobin doing jack shit about it is horrible roster management.

We should be in week two of teaching another TE picked up off the street our playbook. Instead we have an injured guy doing nothing.

Playing practicing and preparing one man short hurts the team no matter how you slice it.

Only 3 of the TEs are ever active on gameday. And there is another TE, Nick Bowers on the practice squad. So tell us, oh wise one, what player should Duke have gone after to replace Sample, that would not end up getting cut when other injured players return to the roster

Anyone who is a free agent. Pick your favorite guy from everybody's practice squad and poach somebody. Or go out and get a vet sitting on the streets who no longer has the full year guarantee.

I'm fine with no TE moves although I hope we start using Hurst a little more just try and make it more down field no screens. But I hope we bring in a DT. It'll be worrisome if we just expect our own guys to just play more to carry the load of Reader missing time.

I would looked at Jared Cook. This offense needs another TE who has a track record of catching the football. If Hurst goes down then what?

Why, it's almost as if they know what they're doing....

You have zero clue what Tobin is doing. He can't just crap a TE that is not on a team already that can xome in to a new system and be better that what we already have. Tobin could be on the phone with Gronk, and none if us would have a clue.
