FBI executes search warrant at Mar-A-Lago

Under normal circumstances no, we wouldn't. It is not the way things are typically done to comment on such things or release them. Now, Trump's people would have been given a copy of the warrant as well as a list of what was taken, but the public would typically not get any knowledge of it unless there were special circumstances. Which we are getting into.

Anything that the DOJ or FBI release is going to be labeled a lie or fake or planted and that's evidence enough for the MAGA crowd.

He may as well also claim the FBI broke in and found nothing but managed to steal his evidence Obama was born in Kenya, his healthcare plan he never implemented, and all his evidence the 2020 election was rigged.

Trump's word is evidence.  Evidence is worthless.

GQP members stating he should have been given a 'forthwith subpoena' instead of a search warrant.  Apparently they haven't kept up on daddy's view of subpoena's or the law in general.  Then going on about how the FBI / DOJ 'planted' this informant.  Looking forward to them cleaning up the image when it comes to light its someone close to daddy who's flipped for self-preservation purposes.

Give me a ***** break with all the grandstanding attempts to bend over backwards for this scumbag.  Their families should all be ashamed of them.

Got ya.  Wouldn't put you in that basket buddy.  But you know there will be a large percentage of his followers saying exactly that...  Many of them can't synthesize information at a level where this can make any sense.

Trump under investigation per search warrant for:

18 USC 2071 — Concealment, removal or mutilation
18 USC 793 — Gathering, transmitting or losing defence information
18 USC 1519 — Destruction, alteration or falsification of records in Federal investigations

793 is the espionnage act.

Have we gone from "They won't find anything!" To "Ok well other presidents kept top secret nuclear documents, too!" already ?

Lordy.  Is that real?

A former President is being investigated for violations of the bloody espionage act and the warrant was signed by the Director of Counter Intelligence. If that doesn't stop you in your tracks nothing will

Not just lock him up…..but something a little more permanent perhaps. Don’t give him his cushy couch in solitude. Treat him like a traitor in 1785.

That sentiment sure would be appreciated. Specific deed aside for a second, what I just cannot get is how anyone can really be surprised or disappointed. That man has zero ethics or standards. Did that somehow escape the people that went through the Clintons and Obama and Biden with a fine comb to find every little possible flaw, and yet they took not even a glance at this guy? His whole life story proves that there can not possibly be surprise about his moral debauchery. Just a few examples. He ran a scam university, tricking desperate people to give him their little savings with false promises. He used money of his charity to buy a huge painting of himself. He betrays his women, he viciously hates on his perceived enemies on twitter, he lives in golden rooms in his own tower and paid less taxes than pretty much all of his supporters, does that seem right? He lied to you about anything, just making stuff up on the fly, selling absurd conspiracies, he openly puts family members in position of power and lets his son-in-law sell a scyscraper to Qataris in exchange for ending a diplomatic ban. And he also did what he was accused of in the impeachments, tried to extort Ukraine to announce fake investigations into Biden, using critical military aid to do so, and he instigated January 6, allowed an armed mob to go to the Capitol, edged them on, waited for an escalation, did not care a shred about human life or the good of the country. And God knows what he did with the Russians. It's still only the money-laundering Deutsche Bank that saved him from bancrupcy, that never sounded weird to anyone? Nah, you put the amoral bastard in a position of power and made clear you would overlook anything, yeah well what surprise he took it even further. Why wouldn't he feel invincible after getting away with all that and so much more.

Whoever feels like you say you feel about Trump now needs to be disappointed in himself for not making the most obvious character observation there possibly could be.

You have to hand it to Trump and the GOP for being able to convince so many people that holding Trump accountable for anything is the real act of treason.

This is their response tonight…..

‘it was all declassified IF they are even reporting the actual story. By the way, the FBI already visited ML months ago. This whole thing is a circus. ????

Makes sense.  I'm sure if Joe Biden secretly declared our current top secret nuclear documents to be "declassified" and took them home and tossed them into Hunter's bedroom they'd all be fine with it.

Actually, has Biden tried waving his hand over Hunter's laptop and declaring it "declassified?"  Maybe that's why the FBI isn't allowed to look into that whole thing.

You damn magic notebook thing, you've caused the son god chose to not kill a lot of flak, Jack. I'm declassifying this thing because it's full of mularkey!

The history shows the press has never treated Trump fairly so I am skeptical about what is reported. When I heard of the raid, my first thought was the FBI would plant something on him. I am going with my first instinct.

How has he been treated unfairly by the press? I know HE says that all of the time, but so do most whiners. Do you feel like law enforcement plants things on every suspect during every raid? So law enforcement and the press treat him unfairly?
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

They had CCTV cameras all over that place. If it was planted, let’s release the videos. Let’s see if anything was planted.

This is slowly becoming my realization…….we’re in a much bigger situation.
