The group that did this is the group that pressured Comey/McCabe to investigate Clinton. This is an anti-corruption group that is just that.
The FBI is overall ideologically conservative, so it always baffling to me how much people go down this route. Of course, that doesn't really matter because these civil servants are there to carry out the law. The vast majority of these agents are there to do their jobs and don't give a shit about politics.

In other news, the people he conned out of money with his fake university will be getting their money soon. That's definitely a first, right? A sitting US President has to pay Americans for setting up a fake school and stealing millions from them.

It sounds like it’s all old stuff. Nothing related to muellers investigation. Wrong is wrong but side stuff unrelated to the investigation is exactly why special counsel should have a narrow scope.
