GOP reuses '16 platform for '20; forgets to remove attacks on "current president"

The official 2020 GOP platform will include language such as:

“The survival of the internet as we know it is at risk. Its gravest peril originates in the White House, the current occupant of which has launched a campaign, both at home and internationally, to subjugate it to agents of government.”

" That sound consensus was replaced with impotent grandstanding on the part of the current President and his Secretaries of State. The results have been ruinous for all parties except Islamic terrorists and their Iranian and other sponsors.”

Hilarious   I mentioned before that their 2016 campaign website was riddled with errors and repetition--like it was put together by different people at different times with no one taking responsibility for the whole.

Sounds more like a Freudian slip.

Maybe the GOP is still basing their platform on issues that were resolved decades ago more as a function of laziness than anything else. It would explain why they are a party that seems to be stuck in 1963.

It's red meat that their base still loses their mind about. The wealthy want the tax policies of the GOP and they can throw around social conservatism for the hate-filled right as a means of getting votes. Some people are more concerned about hating gay people, immigrants, and people of color to care about whether or not they're getting hosed by the rich.

Maybe they are pointing out how bad Trump is to remind people how butthurt liberals are going to be when he wins again?

Trump stinks, so stick it liberals by voting for him so they have to cry for at least another 4 years.
