Apparently, everyone in the building agreed he was ready.  Great news, even if it's just as a morale boost.  Imagine how fired up the D will be when he runs out onto the field.

This is great news. So he's gonna start? He's fully recovered?

Doubt he is "fully recovered", but he is in good enough shape to contribute to our defense, and there is no increased risk of re-injury by bringing him back.

Based on what I've read, it will be a see how he does scenario, with the chance of him playing a majority of snaps being pretty slim.

Marvin likened it to starting the preseason.

I don't know if they will be a lot more "fired up" or anything like that. but I believe they will more likely be lined up properly on every play.

He's only a phone call away.

That's why he was the obvious choice to be cut.

People were talking about cutting Alford and trying to get him on the PS and all this other silly stuff.

I definitely didn't expect him to be ready for this game, but it's a very welcome surprise.

Like bengalguy wrote, I heard about 15 to 20 snaps.  I hope he can make a big play or two or even just get back into the swing of things.

Part of me is scared that we brought him back too quick and we could lose him for longer because, even if he tries to play more conservative, he's the TaZmanian Devil

No team would have claimed Alford off our practice squad.  He was a 7th round pick that did zero in the preseason.

We kept Alford over Little because Alford is still just a rookie who will continue to develop as he practices with the team.  Little is already as good as he is going to get.  There was no benefit to keep him around to practice with the team.
