About damn time.

And you remember that fake dossier containing dirt on Trump?...that's on the corrupt democrats and Russia.
https://gop.com/fusion-gps-ties-to-russia-exposed/

•Fusion GPS is the firm that hired ex-British spy Christopher Steele to put together a phony dossier during the 2016 campaign on supposed Trump ties to Russia.

•The dossier, full of Russian sourced information, was shopped to dozens of U.S. journalists during and immediately after the 2016 campaign, and eventually reported on despite obvious red flags to its accuracy.

•The dossier’s claims made it into the hands of U.S. intelligence officials, and were included in a top secret intelligence briefing for President Obama.

•The dossier's claims of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia helped spark the FBI investigation now supervised by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

•We now know the dossier is full of bogus, false information. Christopher Steele even admitted in a lawsuit recently that most of his work in the dossier was never fully verified.

•Fusion GPS is deeply connected to Democrat politics. The co-founder of Fusion GPS is reportedly a Hillary Clinton donor. Fusion GPS allegedly was retained by Planned Parenthood, and did work for Democrats to investigate Mitt Romney in 2012.

[*]Fusion GPS has deep ties to Russia.

[*]According to the testimony of William Browder this morning, along with other reporting, Fusion GPS was hired by Russians to defend Russian government connected officials from allegations of fraud.

[*]Fusion GPS was also employed by Russians to fight against the Magnitsky Act and has worked on issues with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.

[*]Browder spoke this morning about Fusion GPS’ tactics to work over reporters, and its efforts to run smear campaigns on behalf of their clients.

[*]It is troubling to hear about allegations that a Russian-backed opposition research firm, with a history of smearing individuals and pitching fake information to reporters, was then hired by opponents of President Trump and the information that was compiled was taken seriously by the highest levels of our intelligence community along with our media.

As this gets uncovered I can just hear the media and dems...."nothing to see here, no collusion, everyone go home, waste of time, we should be discussing real issues"...and the granddaddy of them all..."at this point what difference does it make".

I am for charges when it comes to any criminal activity. My issue is rehashing investigations that have already occurred; investigations into things not under the purview of the federal government, i.e., DNC/Clinton collusion; or calls for investigations into fake news, i.e., the uranium thing.

LOL, they rail about politicization yet they write this, that's funny.

Anyway, I say investigate every S.O.B in Washington D.C., from the President of the United States all the way down to the guy who sweeps out the place when everyone goes home.

Then maybe we can get some people in there who wants to do the people's work.

Could our federal prisons even handle such an enormous surge of inmates?   Ninja (but only sorta)

Yeah, I'm a constituent of the chair, Goodlatte. He has been silent on all of the shit going on in the administration. Silent. Then he does this. If anyone wants to talk about the swamp, they should talk about him. He has been in office since 1992 (after saying he would serve at most two terms).

Of course they did.

Someone finally realized they could start other investigations to start tallying the base and distract more from the current ones.

Imagine how many of these would already be going on if Clinton had won!   Smirk

Also it might make the POTUS stop tweeting about it and work on some legislation.

Right after this weekend of gold and his three week vacation that starts next week.   Cool

It is almost like associations with the Russians is seen as a bad thing...

Unless, of course, that association is by the Trumps, his campaign or his administration.  And they lied about their meetings...until they got caught.

Almost...   Mellow

I like how you completely omitted the part the Steele dossier was commissioned by a Trump Republican rival. Hillary's camp was approached with the information after the Republican primary. To quote Trump, who's not going to take that meeting? You want to have your cake and it it, too. But, if you're going to give Trump a pass for Jr. meeting with Russians as part of the "Russian government's" support of Trump then you also have to give Hillary a pass for meeting with a private sector company not working for the Russian government. Or, if you're going to condemn Hillary for taking a meeting to get dirt on Trump which didn't involve Russian officials then you have to also condemn Trump. So which is? Are you taking option 1) damned if you do or option 2) damned if you don't?

investigating a grandma sitting at home while a man with zero ethics runs the country seems about right for the republican party who is totally clueless

One of these days, there's going to not be a Clinton anywhere around and republicans are going to look at each other and say "wtf are we supposed to rally against now?"

Congress is already unable to function. The executive branch is largely unable to do its duties. So now we're going to waste more time and money and resources investigating an investigation. LOL

Whoa! Once again you are throwing out wild and unsubstantiated claims while claiming that's what others do.  There is no evidence whatsoever that the US gov intel analysts who got the dossier did anything other than what they usually do, which is vet and re-vet the material, deciding how much is trustworthy and how much not--a process which includes corroboration from other countries' intel agencies.

When the dossier raised points like Carter Page's contact with Russians, the FBI then did their own investigation to confirm it.
http://www.cnn.com/2017/04/18/politics/fbi-dossier-carter-page-donald-trump-russia-investigation/index.html
They did not just get the dossier and start throwing around claims based upon it. So some information in the dossier certainly isn't "fake," the rest can be called "unsubstantiated" at the moment.

What do you think there is to "uncover" here?  What "collusion"? Did Hillary refuse to turn over her tax forms and borrow money from Russia and shift the Democratic party platform to a pro-Russia stance on the Ukraine? Did Chelsea and Bill forget all their meetings with Russians?

Right now we have a president with a history of smearing individuals and pitching fake information to reporters.
The resulting executive chaos is currently our foremost problem as nation--not the economy, not North Korea, not terrorism, not climate change.

Hillary was already investigated. Conclusion, nothing to charge her with. Waste of time and money. Deflect.
When more crap surfaces about the crooked Drumphs and their dealings, the Drumph lovers on here go right to their standby rebuttal, what about Hillary, what about Obama. News flash, Obama & Hillary have nothing to do with Drumph's behavior now.
More deflection, nothing more. The dirt on Drumph will come out then we will see if the old white Rupubs in Congress find a set of nuts to rid the country of this cartoon character.

Panic mode for the GOP, lol. When you're president is unfit, incompetent, and completely unable to be reigned in by the party establishment, you go to the old standbys. Healthcare promises tanking? The KKKeebler elf AG and hero of the southern base getting mangled by the POTUS? Cool. We'll beat up on the *****. The necks and thumpers will eat it up.

Getting a little too hot in the kitchen for the POTUS with the Russia investigations? WH staff in complete turmoil? Time to start beating the Clinton drum again. That one always rallies the base. I think it's pure entertainment. Even after defeating the Clintons, the Republicans still get so butthurt about being thoroughly humiliated by them every time they try to take them to court that they can't let go, lol. Keep trying, guys. I'm sure that this is time will be different! Right.

If they're this disconnected, disarrayed and desperate six no Thea in, in not sure what they're going to do come reelection, or what the GOP is going to do with the midterms. I would've thought falling back in "it's all clintons fault" would've been the re election Hail Mary.

I just hope to hell that Trump stays in office for the entire term.  He's a gift.  His hardcore supporters will stick by him him matter what.  Other people will hold steady b/c he's their sledgehammer against the establishment and does a good job of consistently insulting libs.  That's pretty much all it takes for the base, really.  They need to keep venting after 8 years of president Black Guy to keep their widdle feewings from being threatened again.   A cheerleader is literally all they want, and they have it now.  If Pence takes over, I think it unifies the GOP and gives them a new lease on life with a POTUS who's every bit as evil as Trump, but much more competent as a politican.

Trump has proven himself a failure as a dealmaker with the healthcare loss.  That was his big "strength" and it's out there for all to see as a lie.  Add that to the fact that life isn't going to get any better for the blue collar voters that shifted his way last November, and you have a gift to Dems in 2020.  None of those people will give one shit about him repealing regulations for big business.  Most won't care about the stock market either, because less and less of them own stock.  They live paycheck to paycheck.

6 plus months of Trump has yielded plenty of evidence to prove him unfit.  Just imagine what 4 full years will do.  People will be so sick of his tweets and sixth-grade playground talk that they'll elect an empty Dem suit to get rid of his ass.  Hopefully the Dems will have enough juice in the house by then to launch real investigations into him and his associates and let him end his life in prison.
