Indy Game Game Ball

How about Dunlap at the #2WR position? Since Ross is not allowed to play with the football. Yes. I like Malone too. The others not named Green are worthless IMO.

If Andy is alive come January he gets the MVP award for the season.

But today we won because of Dunlap, so he gets the game ball.

Dalton had a defender in his face in 1.3 seconds on every passing play besides maybe 4 or 5 the entire game !

Aaron Rodgers would struggle big time with this O-line, Brady would get smoked ! He has the mobility of a fire hydrant

I get it, Dalton is not a world beating QB, not saying he is. But if you watched this game and really blame the QB for this struggle you're not facing reality. You go out there with 300 lb linemen coming at you unblocked every other play.

Dalton for game ball with Dunlap giant thanks

This

Is tough to be Dalton this season for sure.

But Carlos gets the "play of the game for sure

The Jags ran for 188 yards that day and Bortles mostly went untouched. I wonder how he'd fare if he were pressured every snap and his RB's provided 34 yards on the ground?

Amazing the things people say to take credit from Dalton. He got a chunk of yards on a screen and a couple of his guys were actually open.

We should expect these things to happen more often, not shame the QB for it happening.

If you havent noticed. There is a lot of teams with shitty OL play. We are not the only ones.

We aint winning anything with a QB who plays like a chicken shit.

Its really not hard to tell. Championship caliber NFL QBs show playmaking ability. Throwing up a prayer to a wide open WR isnt play making ability. Tuck and run for your life in a clean pocket is not play making ability. Throwing the ball away on 4th down is not play making ability.

Dude is playing like trash right now. Ok. OL play is bad. So is the dude who finds AJ green for like 40 yards against the terrible colts D

The play this week that was confusing was when he ran out of bounds for a 3 yard loss when he could have just thrown the ball away. But hey we know Brady or Rodgers would have done the same thing.

Lions have a shitty OL shitty run game and no true stud WR.

Anyone want to bet stafford throws for less than the 140 yards Dalton had against the same D last week?

Great game and comeback by Russell Wilson today! Is Seattle known for their great oline? Btw who was their leading rusher today?

Right. 2 TDs, no picks, 108.8 rating = 100% trash mixed with some pure luck. Got it.

Blake Bortles had 330 yards and a 124.7 rating against that same D. When they still had a couple of their best players too. He is probably a straight up beast. Who was that trash ass back up they were close to benching him for this year?

When he has a clean pocket and a wide open pass catcher there is a decent chance Dalton will throw a catchable pass. Boy we are lucky to have such a great QB.

If only we could play the browns and colts every week. Daltons stats would be sick

Will marv be handling the half time adjustments? If so could be possible...

The Jags ran for 188 and Bortles was barely touched (1 sack for 0 yards) all game. Apples to oranges.

You're really being silly with some of this. Nobody is saying Dalton needs a squeaky clean pocket 100% of the time, with WIDE open receivers...but we are a LONG way from that. We just need a line that isn't competing for "worst in NFL history" and receivers who are open "sometimes" (the quick pressure is also to blame for that...as receivers don't have time to finish routes).

The stuff we saw today (big play on a screen, AJ and Malone got open for the TD's) is something other teams see every damn week (without the 20 pressures and 2.0 yards per carry). In Cincy it's so freaking rare that people like you think they did something special.

Also, nobody said Dalton was "great". Just that he played a gritty game today, considering the constant duress. To your last line, lets not pretend Dalton's only good games have come against the Colts and Browns. That hasn't been the case this year, and most certainly not in his career.

Anyone that thinks Dalton is the problem needs to get their eyes checked.

This is probably the worst the pass blocking has been all year. This was the first time I feel like you could really notice Dalton was getting pissed. Multiple times they shaking his jead, saying something to someone, and slamming his helmet dowb. Dalton stood in there on a couple throws (especially the touchdown to Malone) and got popped.

This is not an Andy Dalton or an oline thread. There are many of those to be found, This thread is to vote for and expound on who you think deserved the game ball today.

Its not rare. Because people are open. Its just Our QB is running around like a chicken with its head cut off who is only capable of throwing the ball away and has zero accuracy on the move.

Our QB is at an 87 qbr for the year mainly because he put up a good qbr against the browns and colts.

And people act like we have some world beating qb who has us razor close to a super bowl. When the dude has proven he shits his britches when the bright lights are on.
